Le monument le plus célèbre de Thessalonique, la Tour Blanche faisait autrefois partie des fortifications de la ville et d'une prison.
Le palais, l'hippodrome, l'arche et la rotonde. Le tout construit par Cesar Galerius lorsqu'il décida de faire de Thessalonique son lieu de résidence.
Centre de toute l'activité financière et administrative à l'époque romaine, ce lieu était autrefois plein de vie.
L'église où est vénéré le saint patron de Thessalonique, que des centaines de personnes visitent chaque jour pour payer leurs respects.
La place Aristotelous à Thessalonique est un endroit pittoresque animé, entouré de beaux bâtiments néoclassiques et offrant une vue imprenable sur la mer. C'est l'endroit idéal pour se détendre, prendre un café et profiter de l'atmosphère animée de la ville.

There's a lot of history here, and walking around with someone knowledgeable helps peel back the layers and put it in context. Our guide Nikos was passionate about the history and equally proud of his hometown, so we got a great picture of both the past and the present. Phenomenal way to see the town!

Extremely knowledgable guide, Mr Nikos. Is there anything he doesnt know about greece, the city and surrounding countries? He knows it all and is a friendly and articulate guide Highly recommend him
This was a very good tour with an independent guide.The tour included all the historic sites of Thessaloniki and as i was the only person on the tour it was very easy to ask questions etc

Excellent: friendly, knowledgeable tour guide. Learned much area history. Enjoyed the churches and Roman ruins.
Starting at the White Tower, we walked 12000 steps through the city learning its history and seeing marvelous sights. Our tour guide Nikos Chatzziioannou was fantastic. Very knowledgeable. Also very sensitive to the needs of the small group we were with. Just a great way to start our visit of this magnificent city.

Nikos was very kind and knowledgeable. We had a fun morning exploring the city and learnt quite a bit of history. Although he ran away 30 minutes before we were supposed to finish the tour and the itinerary on the description is not that accurate.
