Un temple bouddiste classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO et le monument le plus emblématique de Gyeongju. Bulguksa dispose de superbes terrasses en pierre, de belles salles en bois et de deux célèbres pagodes - Dabotop et Seokgatap. Construit pendant le Royaume de Silla, il offre un mélange perfec d'histoire, de culture et de paysages naturels, ce qui en fait un site incontournable pour les premiers voyageurs.
Découvrez la grotte de Seokguram, classée au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO et chef-d'œuvre de l'art bouddhique antique. Située sur le mont Tohamsan à Gyeongju, cette grotte en pierre artificielle du VIIIe siècle abrite un Bouddha serein et majestueux en granit blanc donnant sur la mer de l'Est.
Daereugnwon Tomb Comples est l'un des sites archéologiques les plus impressionnants de Gyeongju, avec de grands tumulus funéraires du royaume de Silla. Les visiteurs peuvent se promener parmi les anciennes tombes royales et explorer la célèbre tombe de Cheonmachong, où des artefacts du tableau du "Cheval céleste" ont été découverts.
C'est le plus ancien observatoire astronomique existant en Asie de l'Est et un symbole des réalisations scientifiques du royaume de Silla. Construit au VIIe siècle, sa structure en pierre simple et sa forme unique de bouteille en font l'un des monuments les plus emblématiques de Gyeongju.

We had 3 generations on this excursion with our guide, Mimi in Gyeongju, and everyone enjoyed it! My sons, ages 10&17, myself, and the grandmas all learned about the history of the area and experienced wonderful sightseeing. Mimi helped us all feel comfortable throughout the day. Mimi (Yeon) was excellent! She picked us up right from the station in a nice, clean, and roomy van. She was able to get us to all the sites that we wanted to see, and provided us with a lot of history and insight, that we couldn't get just from reading the signs. Because some places were very busy, she ended up dropping us off at the front while she found parking, which was helpful and generous. She was on top of getting tickets and pointing out all of the things that we shouldn't miss. Certainly highly recommend Mimi!

The tour was fantastic. All of the sights were wonderful to see, particularly the Bulguksa Temple and the Seokgurum grotto. Our guide Miyeoung was wonderful; she was very knowledgeable about the historical sights we saw, and able to answer all our questions.

I am glad that I booked this private tour for Gyeongju, as I would not have gained such knowledge about the history and culture if I had visited by myself. Young was a fantastic tour guide, the car was comfortable, I was given a bottle of water, and she took plenty of photos of me (which was helpful as I was travelling solo).
