Dégustation et VTT Parme

We had a great time with Davide who guided us to a family-run cheese factory. The route was quite simple, whether by electric or manual bike. The visit to the cheese factory allowed us to see the artisanal production and understand the whole process to obtain this quality parmesan that we were able to taste. Upon our return to Parma, we stopped to taste local cold cuts with a good wine. I can only recommend this activity with Davide! Thank you for this beautiful morning 🙏

Davide is very kind and nice. The visit to the production facility was interesting, even if you only see a small part of the live production. 20 km by bicycle is very doable because it is all flat. Lunch is more of a standing tasting. A seated lunch would have been ideal.

We had a wonderful morning biking with Davide to a small cheese producer outside of Parma and grabbing lunch at a farm where Davide had apprenticed to learn how to cure meats. The biking (we used traditional bikes) was flat and very doable for us in our 40s and our son who is 12. Weaving around the traffic circles on our way out of town was the only somewhat challenging part for us as some of the turns were tight, but that's nothing to complain about. The meetup spot at their location in town was convenient to walk from our hotel, and easy to find. The experience of watching the cheesemaking and touring that facility was fantastic and exceeded my expectations. Davide was also wonderful at chatting up our son to keep him distracted while riding, which allowed us to simply enjoy the beautiful rural scenery. Definitely recommend this tour!

Excellent tour. Our guide was very professional and friendly. It was a fantastic experience, and he made a difference. The bicycles were in perfect condition, and it was an unforgettable experience for cheese lovers.

Our bike tour with Davide and company was the absolute highlight of our Italy! Parma is an incredibly bike-friendly town with beautiful sights, amazing food, and rich culture. Even more, I’m so glad that we got to know Davide and see his passion for both cycling and the culinary arts. We highly recommend anyone visiting Parma to do this tour!

What a great way to learn first hand the art and craft of making DOP Reggiano Parmesano cheese. An easy bike ride through the countryside enroute to the cheese producer gave us a glimpse of the region. Our very knowledgeable guide showed us the intricacies of producing quality cheese. As an added bonus, we saw a bit of charming Parma on our way in and out of town and had a delicious lunch.
