An extraordinary experience in Ortigia! Our guide Nicolas was simply fantastic: very knowledgeable, friendly and with an authentic passion for art that he manages to convey in every word. The hour of the tour flew by in a flash, completely immersed in his stories and excited by his manner. If you want to discover the true soul of Ortigia with a smile, he is the perfect person!

Ayaman was polite, knowledgeable and courteous. Everything he did for my mother and I was focused on making our experience with Velorbike tours comfortable and enjoyable. His English was excellent and his enthusiasm to give the best tour was charming. We have been in Ortigia for a few days but in one hour, we learnt so much more about it. We would highly recommend.

By pure chance, my family and I met Nicolas in front of the ruins of the Temple of Apollo... we didn't want to take a guided tour... but he, a true Aretusean in love with his city and the history of his land... won us all over by showing us the most important monuments, telling us anecdotes, stories, and dwelling on myths and legends... an unmissable tour that ended on a sweet note.. We want to thank Nicolas for his kindness, empathy, and competence... furthermore, the velobike is a Fun as well as very windy 😂

FANTASTIC experience with Velobike -Velotour Syracuse! Saturday, my mother and I arrived around 2:00 PM at the station and there to welcome us was Nikolas, the guide/driver who accompanied us throughout the tour: professional, very well-prepared, and with a love for Syracuse that can be felt in every one of his words. He told us the history, anecdotes, and curiosities of the city in an engaging and pleasant way. The ride on board the eco-friendly Velobike was beautiful: we visited Ortigia and the most evocative points of Syracuse in a comfortable and sustainable way and even my 82-year-old mother didn't get too tired! What makes the service even better? The availability. Not only did they wait for us at the station, but they accompanied us to the door of our B&B...it doesn't get better than that!!!! Highly recommended for those who want to discover Syracuse and Ortigia in a different, fun, and authentic way. With Velobike it's a whole different thing! Thank you Nikolas and thank you Velobike team, you are simply SUPERLATIVE!!!

Our guide Aymen was fantastic!!! He was polite, he knew everything about Ortigias history, the buildings, the influences from differing periods and rulers, current affairs and he was so funny. We loved him to bits. We thought it would just be another tourist trap, but boy were we wrong. The velobike can travel where tuktuk’s can’t, bc it’s a little slimmer, and it’s quiet and doesn’t pollute, so it’s an awesome way to quickly see Ortigia. The breeze while the weather is warm on the tour is a godsend, and we loved every minute. Aymen was talkative, funny, very polite, a gentleman to the woman, and a good friend to the man, and he was very, very informative. Not one question he couldn’t answer, and very honest and sociable. He also offered to do photos, in romantic settings for us, and he was so much fun that we tipped him the same as the tour cost, bc he was so great. He’s so charming, warm and friendly. Both my hubby and I was thrilled when returning, bc the tour was so great and knowledgeable. Loved every minute of it. We were on a work trip, and therefore wanted quick tours with loads of facts, and we got that. Also did the tuktuks which are fun and sweet too, as well as the tour bus around the whole island, which was also good to try, but Velobike and Aymen was our favorite by far. Highly recommend. Spare the long walk and see the spots and go around with the bike and very nice guides! Fantastic tour and city!

Somehow we had a reservation issue . The tour guide arrived after us looking for him and did not have our name to confirm our reservation. Then, there was an issue where he was told our trip was for 30 minutes but the reservation was for 60-120 min. During the tour, the guide’s boss kept calling him asking for a photo of our reservation impacting on the amount of time we had. He received at least 4 calls during our “tour”. Not all sites mentioned on the website when I made the reservation were visited. It was a rushed tour. Did not like it.

This was a great tour. Our tour guide was great and made the experience lots of fun. We would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful tour with Nicolas, a boy passionate about history but especially his Syracuse. Gentle, prepared, he told us history, myths, legends and even a piece of his story. If you are in Ortigia look for it for this tour, it is really worth it. Tips also on where to eat, on the best granita. Who better than a local to have tips not too touristy!
