Syracuse et Ortigia en tuk-tuk (2 heures)

A fantastic morning on our 2 hour tour! Francesco was amazing and was highly knowledgeable about his local town… we covered so much on such a comfortable journey! Would highly recommend 🥂

Today, we took a two-hour tuk-tuk tour between the modern city of Syracuse and the island of Ortigia. It was an excellent experience. Our driver, Francesco, was very professional, available, and fascinating. Thanks to WhatsApp, we received all the information regarding the meeting point very quickly. Although he does not speak French, he uses Google Translate in real time, which allowed us to follow all his explanations perfectly. The tour includes several stops at remarkable places. Despite the high heat of the afternoon, the tuk-tuk ride remained very pleasant and we were not particularly bothered. A big thank you to Francesco for this beautiful discovery and for this excellent afternoon. We recommend this tour without hesitation.

We loved the tour with Francesco. The trip was great! Our family had a great time. Francesco told us about Syracuse and Ortigia with great professionalism and was super willing to answer our questions! He also had a lot of patience with us at the stops with our young son. And the fact that it was in simultaneous translation helped us a lot since we don't understand Italian. I definitely recommend this tour! Thank you very much Francesco for this tour!

Communication before, during and after tour was excellent. We enjoyed a four person tour with Francesco providing both Italian (translated) commentary in a speaker for rear passengers and also in English as we went, answering all our additional questions. His flexibility for accommodating my elderly parents was appreciated. We enjoyed our tour of Ortigia and Syracuse.

Guide tried hard, but his English was limited. He didn’t really explain anything. Played a recording a couple of times. Would have been just as good going directly to the Temple of Apollo and booking it there. Pick up was confusing.

This was one of the best tours we have taken! Francesco was so incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He was an instant friend. We would use his services before anyone else's. The tour included 10-15 minutes in some of the locations while he waited by the tuk tuk. We walked away feeling good about what we learned and confident that we were in good hands.
