Temple de Kapaleeshwarar – Mylapore Votre visite commence par une visite du célèbre temple Kapaleeshwarar à Mylapore. Ce temple du VIIe siècle est dédié au Seigneur Shiva et est connu pour son gopuram (tour) haut et coloré recouvert de belles sculptures. This was an OK tour … hindered slightly by the language … when you advertise an English speaking guide .. we struggled to understand a lot of what the guide was telling us. Also we were picked up at 10.30am for an advertised 6 hour tour … before we even started he asked if it was OK to drop us back at 1.30pm to which we said no & stated the 6 hour time frame. (We were dropped back at 3) . Also as we did not want to go on the shopping section of the tour … we asked if they could take us to a supermarket to purchase some water & soft drinks & we were still taken to the clothes shop?! Luckily a little shop nearby had what we needed. Our guide then left us completely with the driver at the shops for him to take us back to the hotel. I’ve been on better tours …….

That said, the tour should never feel rushed, and we appreciate you clarifying that you expected the full duration. With respect to the shopping stop, it is always optional. We regret the misunderstanding regarding your request for a supermarket visit and will ensure clearer communication in the future. The guide stepping away at the end of the tour is not our usual service standard, and we will address this with the team. Overall a good half day out. Driver was prompt and took us around well. Guide was extremely knowledgable both on the journey pointing out places of interest and at the visit sites. Some sites were great, particularly the temple and the market we were taking to, but wouldn’t recommend the fish market or the fort to include.

Good trip. Very informative! Akil was a good guide & Mr Selvam was a safe driver. Saw some of the sights of Chennai & happy with the length of the trip. Advise to take trip early in the day as it gets very hot around lunchtime.

Was a good tour of parts of Chennai. Very handy to be picked up from airport and dropped off at accommodation. Guide was friendly and informative and driver and car were good also .
