Regardez un vrai Maiko se produire de près, une chance extrêmement rare, car il n'en reste qu'une quarantaine à Kyoto aujourd'hui. Le spectacle comprend deux courtes danses (environ 10 minutes au total), suivies d'une séance de questions-réponses, de photos, et d'un jeu traditionnel Japonais. VEUILLEZ LIRE ATTENTIVEMENT CE QUI SUIT AVANT DE RÉSERVER⬇️ - L'interprète sera un MAIKO, pas un GEISHA. Une Maiko est une apprentie geisha, ce qui signifie qu'elle s'entraîne à devenir une geisha. C'est une apprentie geisha, que nous appelons une Maiko. - Les performances de Maiko sont intentionnellement courtes pour préserver l'art, donc elle ne se produira PAS pendant toute l'heure. - Nous offrons deux options de visites différentes : Maison de thé : tenue dans un authentique Kyo-Machiya. Théâtre Gion : tenu dans une salle de spectacle dédiée. Veuillez vérifier les photos avant de réserver. - Nous ne pouvons pas avoir d'arrivées tardives à cause des manières aux autres clients et à la geisha. Si vous êtes en retard, nous ne pouvons malheureusement pas vous rembourser.

Pour l'option Maison de thé, nous visiterons la rue Kamishichiken, qui est le plus ancien quartier Geisha de Kyoto.
Pour l'option théâtre Gion, le théâtre est dans le centre de Miyagawa cho, 1 des 5 quartiers Geisha à Kyoto.

Got there about 20 mins early so got a good seat. Green tea is provided and a matcha cookie. Toilets available. The guide talked about the history of the geiko and maiko and we watched 2 performances of dance moves. She was very graceful. Then there was a q&a plus she also played a game with audience members. Everyone got a go so not rushed.

I booked the activity in January and paid for it at the beginning of July. Well, a week before the date of the activity, August 9, the organization contacted me to ask if I would mind changing the contracted activity or the date of completion for operational reasons, without further explanation. I told them that I prefer not to change. The day before the activity they contacted me again to inform me that I had two options, either change the activity or cancel, without further explanation. I chose to cancel. I feel ignored and deceived. At least I can leave a review so that my experience and how this company operates are known.
Overall this was a great experience, especially for people who know very little about Maiko/ Geiko culture. I would also recommend to people who are mildly interested, or curious about Maiko/ Geiko culture but who are not ready to commit to a bigger more involved or more expensive experience. It's a great introduction experience and very approachable for tourists. It was a smidge expensive for what you get (two short dances, and a brief overview explination of Maiko/Gaiko culture, a game, and a Q&A sesh).
