Notre visite de 3 heures avec un guide agréé de l'usine Schindler et de l'ancien site du ghetto juif offre une splendide occasion de découvrir l'histoire de la Seconde Guerre mondiale à Cracovie. La visite commence par une visite à l'usine Schindler, le musée le plus visité de Cracovie. En visitant l'exposition permanente, nous ferons une connaissance approfondie de l'histoire de l'occupation allemande de Cracovie pendant la guerre. L'exposition nous fait le point sur le sort des Polonais, des Allemands et des Juifs dans Cracovie occupée – depuis le déclenchement de la guerre jusqu'à la « libération » douteuse de la ville par l'Armée rouge en janvier 1945. Forts des connaissances acquises au musée, nous partirons vers l'ancien Ghetto. Les lieux et événements historiques évoqués dans le musée seront présentés par notre guide dans le cadre authentique dans lequel ils se sont déroulés. Visiter l'usine « Emalia » et le ghetto en une seule visite vous permet de pleinement saisir et comprendre le destin compliqué de Cracovie et de ses habitants pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale.

Tomasz is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about WWII history, Poland, and local culture. We were deeply impacted by the stories he shared, not only about the horrors that occurred at Auschwitz but also regarding the courage, tenacity, and dignity of the Polish people over the centuries. My son and I did this while visiting Krakow and it was AMAZING! Aga was a fantastic guide and the tour was one of our highlights of our trip. TIP-- do this on the front end of your visit to Krakow, so you can understand the occupation of Krakow by the Nazis while you are in the city. Also, you must watch the movie Schindler's List before you come to Krakow and before taking this tour.

Super interesting and absolutely worth seeing with a guide—especially with Thomas! The museum focuses on the days leading up to and following the Occupation of Poland. The exhibit is highly interactive, with well-organized artifacts and photographs from the period. Our guide Thomas masterfully brought those days to life through his storytelling—he contextualized the entire era and was truly superb! The museum can be visited independently, but it’s nothing compared to the guided tour with Best Krakow Walks—highly recommended!
