The tour was to be in English and we were the only English speakers The guide Rodrigo was excellent and the sights and his knowledge was excellent For a 12 hour tour it would be nice to converse with the other travlers
It was fine. You’ll benefit if you understand Spanish, although the guide is certainly better in Eng than I am with Esp. Getting out of the city provided great perspective on modern Mexico, but I was looking for more culture, history, and time to explore. The group’s time was mainly spent in 2 guide-selected silver shops, a guide-selected restaurant with spectacular view, and snoozing in the van. We had about 30 min free time in Taxco to descend to the meeting point.
If you like to silver; this tour is for you. Also some gorgeous views of the mountains and hill tops. Great shopping. I bought a few pieces. The guide and driver did an excellent job.
Juan and Marcos were great the entirety of our tour together. Marcos provided insightful information and made sure to keep us safe when we're in the city. Our driver was excellent in this very long trip as well.
My only complaint is that the tour should include a rest stop on the way back to Mexico City. The ride was over 3 hours.
Angela was a fantastic guide! She brought plenty of knowledge and experience to our tour. We could talk about lots of different aspects of life in Mexico and her understanding of Mexican history was great! She brought water for us. I particularly wanted to shop for high end silver jewelry and she helped me accomplish my mission! It was a beautiful drive over to Cuernavaca and Taxco - lovely day trip!
The trip from CDMX is way too long we spent almost 8 hrs in the car and although TAXCO is very beautiful the street are flooded with cars which makes it scary to walk around. Had I known it was so far away I would have not booked this trip
Terrible The Van in which we were traveling was not in a good condition. Has to wait 1 hour for a new car to arrive. We deserved one more hour in Taxco for the wait, and did not get that. Tour to Cuernavaca is not worth it either. Taxco is beautiful, we needed more time there.
Great service. Nice tourist guide who explains really well. It was a private tour. If you visit Mexico you’ll love visiting Taxco and Cuernavaca.
Our tour guide Francisco and Hector gaves us a thru explanation of the city of Taxco. Taxco is just a magical Pueblo with beauty everywhere.
