Excellent Service by Karina at Riu Ventura! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Riu Ventura, and a huge reason for that was Karina. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly welcoming, warm, and helpful. She effortlessly guided us through various processes and made sure everything went smoothly during our stay. When we were looking to book an excursion, we told her we wanted to go snorkeling, and the specific trip she recommended turned out to be the absolute highlight of our vacation—it was the best experience we could have asked for! What truly blew us away was her dedication. Even on her day off, she remained available to help us via phone chat whenever we needed assistance. That level of care and commitment is rare and so deeply appreciated. We highly recommend anyone staying at Riu Ventura to connect with Karina to ensure your needs are fully taken care of. We are incredibly grateful for everything she did for us and will definitely look for her when we return! Thank you so much, Karina!

As a travel agent who previously booked Nexus for clients, I will no longer use or recommend their services. Reliable transportation and responsive customer service are basic expectations, and Nexus failed on both counts. My sister and I had pre-booked airport transfers through Nexus and waited more than three hours after arriving for transportation that never came. We were repeatedly given conflicting information by different representatives and ultimately told no shuttle was available. We had to pay out of pocket for a taxi and missed an important wedding event because of the delay. What is even more disappointing is that after three months of follow-up, Nexus has still failed to resolve the issue or provide meaningful compensation.

Nexus tours was our representative from the airport and at the hotel. Angeles was so pleasant to deal with and helpful with all our excursions booking. Definitely gave us the best pricing. This company is highly recommended when in Cancun Mexico.

Very poor communication and not reliable transportation if you are going on vacation. Did not communicate if they are picking us up from the resort, said there was an accident and told us to get a taxi on our own expense. We almost missed our flight back to Toronto if we did not reach to them to get an answer if they are picking us up. Choose your transfer wisely from airport to resort and vice versa. This tours is owned by Sunwing travel which is now WestJet.

Transportation to and from the airport. Went right to the resort from the airport. That was great! Had questions and they were quick with answers prior to the trip.

Booked through Expedia as an All-inclusive vacation to Bahia Pincipe Tulum. My husband and 3 kids arrived at Cancun airport, having downloaded the transfer app and "checking in" with the Nexus transfer desk. We then proceeded to wait over 2 hours , being told that there had been canceled flights so the transfers were limited. The runaround was nuts- with "advisors" telling us it wouldn't be too long and then others saying "yes, you may want to take one of the taxis" (several taxi drivers surrounding and trying to get other waiting passengers to hire them ). It was a nightmare trying to get any info but we waited it out (bc I wasn't going to pay more for a private taxi) and FINALLY we were put on a shared shuttle. It was really terrible way to start out trip and I wouldn't recommend this company. Arrange for a private shuttle or other service.

For anyone who doesn't want to start or end their vacation on an extremely sour note we would say DO NOT BOOK the nexus transportation from or to the airport in Cancun! While the drivers are good and attentive, the line to the Nexus tour booth at the airport reminded us the COVID times... LOL when we were ready to take our "free" shopping tour that was part of the Sunwing vacation booking (another company that we will never use again) we were told that we needed to give them a lot more time to book (over 24 hours) and then call them back to confirm if it was arranged or not. On our return to Canada, their agent booked our transportation 4.5 hours ahead of our flight (although our hotel was only 15 minutes away from the airport) and no one answered the phone to rearrange. After reaching to a live agent (and this was after a while trying to solve the issue with AI) which took about 45 minutes, our chat was dropped back to AI 3 times... Then we were told to just stick to given time because we chose shared transportation... Well, I guess we will never use them again!

We went to Cancun for 9 days and had the best experience from bus pickup at cancun airport to bus back to cancun airport after our vacation was over. Nexustours /Sunwing was very helpful in any questions or any problems we encountered and our representative Eric Almazo was there every time we needed him with advice and guidance. I hope if I ever return we have the pleasure of him guiding our needs again. We had an excellent experience thanks to Eric Almazo!!

Just a heads up for anyone booking airport transfers in Cancun — be careful when dealing with NexusTours. I paid $35 USD for what was advertised as a private taxi from Riu Dunamar to Cancun Airport. What we actually got was the complete opposite. We were put on a shared bus — the same one that would have been available to us for free — and they even picked up passengers from other resorts along the way. So essentially, we paid extra for a service we never received. If I had known it would be a shared transfer, I would have just taken the complimentary bus and saved the money. Really disappointing experience and definitely something to watch out for when booking transportation. Make sure you confirm exactly what you’re getting — because in our case, it was not what was promised.
