Apprenez tout sur le processus de production de l'ananas de São Miguel, un processus qui utilise des techniques uniques pour créer un fruit unique.
En remontant le cratère ouest, arrêtez-vous ici pour embrasser cette belle vue sur les côtes nord et sud de l'île
Au point culminant de la route, vous pouvez faire une courte randonnée au lac Canário, et observer les environs de cette zone de paysage protégée.
Dans le point de vue principal sur le célèbre lac à l'intérieur de ce cratère, vous pouvez assister à la taille de ce cratère, le petit village qui existe à l'intérieur ainsi que les magnifiques lacs, ce qui, dans l'ensemble, crée une atmosphère spéciale de ce point de vue.
En descendant la route qui mène à l'intérieur du cratère, de ce point de vue, vous aurez une perspective différente des lacs et du village.
Pourtant, un autre lac, le lac Santiago, est visible de ce point de vue, un petit cratère contenu dans le principal.
Alors que nous terminons la descente au fond du cratère, nous nous arrêtons au pont qui divise les deux lacs, pour une autre perspective de ce cratère géant et quelques photos.
Au centre de ce petit village, vous pouvez visiter une église tout à fait unique où un petit sentier avec des pins et des cèdres de Norfolk mène à l'église Saint-Nicolas.
Explorez un peu le centre du village et faites une pause pour utiliser les salles de bains ou prendre un verre ou une collation dans un bar local.
La dernière étape de la visite vous mènera au point le plus occidental de São Miguel. Un point de vue sur l'océan, utilisé comme lieu d'observation des baleines dans le passé, et avec une vue sur Ferraria d'un côté et le village de Mosteiros de l'autre.
En revenant à votre logement, nous prenons la route sur la côte sud de l'île, pendant ce temps, vous pouvez simplement vous asseoir et vous détendre et profiter de la vue.

Flavio is a wonderful guide for the Azores! We were given an itinerary to work from, however Flavio is incredibly flexible, and will build the itinerary around your wishes. He is both a wonderful driver, skilled on narrow roads and tight parking! Flavio’s car was comfortable and spacious, with bottles of water supplied. HIs passion for the Azores, and his knowledge is outstanding. The pineapple tour was fascinating and educational. We LOVED our tour with Flavio, and would give him 10/10 + This was the highlight of our 5 day stop in the Azores.
Flavio was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and passionate about his country. Car was roomy and clean, trip was not rushed and felt he was very flexible with itinerary. The pineapple farm was much more interesting than I expected, well worth it.

Flávio is an excellent tour guide -- knowledgeable, patient, flexible, prompt, and humourous. We had an 8-hour layover in Ponta Delgada on our way to Graciosa (by way of Terceira), so we booked this 1/2 day (4 hour) tour of a pineapple plantation and Sete Cidades. Within a few hours of making the reservation online, Flávio messaged me via Whatsapp and confirmed the reservation. Communication was excellent throughout the process, and he picked us up at the airport in a very nice car thoughtfully stocked with waters. He told us a lot about the history and culture of Sao Miguel and the Azores in an engaging and entertaining way, answering our questions. Flavio was waiting for us as our ship docked which meant we were able to get started on our tour early, beating the crowds. The locations we visited were exceptional. Flavio was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the areas we were visiting. He was so friendly and willing to answer all our many questions and to wait for us as we explored each stop. He dropped us in our requested city centre location and provided more information on places to visit in the city. Highly recommended. We'll definitely book with Flavio again if we're back in the Azores.

Excellent tour and guide. Knows all the sights and routes. Very polite - great English - private tour lets you ask questions and customize the experience. Clean BMW and comfortable seats. We were on a cruise ship so no problems with returning to ship on the afternoon booking (and we were able to start a little early).
It was a cold, windy, and cloudy day, but that didn’t take away from the beauty that Ponta Delgada has to offer. Flavio’s communication before the tour was top-notch, and his excellent service continued throughout the entire experience. He was incredibly patient as we waited for the wind to clear the clouds so we could get a good view of the craters, something you likely wouldn’t have the flexibility to do on a cruise excursion. He also shared fascinating information about the island, including hydrangeas, pineapples, and the local cows.
