Amazing tour! Up close and able to touch and feed the elephants! Also, we went on a a beautiful hike. The tour guide spoke multiple languages. They pick you up and drop you off at your hotel.
Our family had the best time! We got picked up from our hotel right on time. Being with the elephants was an incredible experience and our kids just love it. Hiking through the national park and see the beautiful waterfalls with just the best.
Yes, it was hot and a little smelly—but absolutely worth it. Getting to interact with these gentle giants in such an ethical, respectful environment was incredibly moving. The staff were so hospitable and kind, clearly passionate about the animals and their care. You can tell the sanctuary prioritizes the animals’ well-being above all. I left with a full heart and so much admiration for everyone involved. Highly recommend!
The transport were great. Full bus and still room. Good aircon and out guide, Andy, was very informative. Did well with the languages and anticipated the weather so changed things for us to try and avoid issues. While still hit with Rain, it didn't spoil. When with the Elephants it felt like it was over so quickly. They tiered of us. Nothing was forced and the Elephants seemed happy. The surroundings were beautiful and plenty of photograph opportunities. All in all for a great price, great guides, I had a great day. Thank you all
We had an amazing (long day). The walk through the jungle was easy enough as mainly down hill. Odd steps and some slippery bits so good legs and sensible shoes. The elephants were great. So relaxed feeding them and making some real contact (on their terms obviously). Our guide Wan was lots of fun and I’m sure the trip was better for it.
They say to be ethical in all the vouchers, but when we drove away we saw 2 people riding on the elephant. Very sad and very bad business. Feel bad that we support this. Don’t go.
I am writing to express my concern regarding the photograph you have recently used. This image does not depict our camp and misrepresents our practices. We strongly oppose the use of elephants for entertainment or riding purposes. We kindly request that you refrain from using this photograph in association with our camp.
Such a great experience!!! There were 7 of us and we all had such an amazing experience. The best part was the elephants❤❤
The Living Green reserve was quitte a disappointment: I specifically wanted to go here because it’s classified as “ethical” but the area to feed the elephants is muddy and disgusting, as is the area to bathe them. No one told us we should bring flip-flops. If they opened in 2013… what have they been doing since?! It should be improved. The lunch was a mediocre Pad Thai at 11:30am followed by some fruit. No coffee, no other options. The hiking in the forest was very pleasant, with spectacular waterfalls and points of view. Our guide was also very helpful and nice, surely not paid enough.
Our guide, John, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about the elephants: their personalities, where they came from and their behaviors. He was also very funny in explaining things to us. He helped take some great family photos. The lunch they provided was excellent. We chatted a little bit during our hike and he imparted some local knowledge of Thailand. I highly recommend this tour.
They state on the internet that they are ethical. But they are not... They let you feed and wash the elephants. With like 30 people at once on one elephant. And when you are done another group of 30 people comes in to do the same again...
Your statement is inaccurate. Our elephants are never forced to perform. In fact, many of them enjoy interacting with our visitors.
