Tu es Mari, la déesse du peuple basque. Vous êtes descendu du pic du mont Urgull pour marcher dans les rues de Saint-Sébastien, mais vos fils ont été emmenés par le diable et cachés quelque part dans la vieille ville. Tu ne partiras pas tant que chacun d'eux n'aura pas été trouvé. Cette quête autoguidée de mythologie basque vous emmène en promenade dans le cœur historique de Saint-Sébastien. Grâce à l'application Questo sur votre smartphone, vous suivez la recherche de Mari à 15 arrêts de l'hôtel de ville en passant par la Parte Vieja jusqu'au pont Zurriola : découvrez d'anciens mythes gravés sur les places et les églises de la vieille ville, décodez les symboles de la légende basque cachés dans les plus vieilles pierres de la ville, et reconstituez l'histoire d'une déesse déterminée à récupérer ce que le diable a volé. Really a fun and strenuous way to get to know the old town. Very nice!
Wat fijn om te horen dat je hebt genoten van de quest in San Sebastian! Het is geweldig dat je het een leuke en actieve manier vond om de oude stad te leren kennen. Hopelijk kom je snel weer een andere stad met ons ontdekken!
We love history which is why we chose this tour. The idea of a game added in seemed fun! The game, however, took us on meaningless side quests that were really not connected to history and were not worth the time it took them to solve (eg. find a random word on a massive government building). We could not skip to the history portion without completing the quests. We quit 1/3 into the tour. Also, you need to download an app. It prompts you to register your Trip Advisor purchase via a link. Once you do that, it is a bit tricky to move the quest to the app. I recommend registering your purchase in-app, despite the instructions in the email.

Directions were confusing, information was basic, clues not very engaging . Maybe some people would enjoy but I did better on my own or a free guided tour

Not what we were hoping. We had done a scavenger hunt with Hidden City in London and we were hoping that this game would be similar. We did not enjoy the game and did not finish it...look for a better game.

My husband and I undertook the 'quest' as a way to see San Sebastian on foot. The route is only 4k but we found the questions made us really look at the buildings and we had a good sense of the layout of the town by the end. We learnt a lot of the history in a fun way. The app is very well made and easy to follow. I would highly recommend Questo as an activity.

We usually do guided city walks but my husband found this app based one so we gave it a go. You can start it at any time of the day its booked for which works well if you choose to have a lie in, or if you'd rather plan it around a cooler time of day. We really enjoyed it. It was fun and we did it at our leisure taking a break for a drink and a pintxos. We are off to Bilbao next then Biarritz so plan to do some more Questo tours.

We had so much fun playing this with a group. To make it more fun we turned it into a pub crawl by stopping for beers after every 2 or 3 questions. What would make it better was if the answers were more forgiving. We put in several correct answers but were not given credit due to capitalization and variations in spelling.
