An absolutely wonderful experience, gaining an in-depth understanding of cooking techniques and the ingredients themselves

Very enjoyable experience! We had a good time in the market and learning about the all the fish and meat. We learned some new skills ( ex rolling an omelet ) and our chef gave excellent instructions. Only challenge was the we were an older group and some found it hard to keep up on the walk from the market to the cooking venue. Highly recommend this class!!

The whole event was very well thought out and accommodating. Carlos was a really excellent host, thoughtful, knowledgeable and gave great recommendations! We got to eat all 3 hot dishes we made in the class + the cheesecake we made, all were very tasty. We also received drinks pairings with each dish, local cider, white wine and red wine. We even got to take home our aprons! The market visit was extremely informative where Carlos talked with the vendors and told us all about the history of the fish/meat, where it comes from and which parts of the fish/ meat were being used and for what reason. All in all, a solid 4 hours workshop and money well spent!! Would recommend to others!!

Great experience. The market portion was interesting and educational and the cooking portion struck a good balance between demo and hands-on. Plus, and not always the case with these things, the food was quite good. Top-notch.

An excellent insight into basque cooking enhanced by the knowledge of the guide/chef who took us to the market and explained about choosing fish and meat cuts. Good fun cooking in a group , meeting others and also sharing great local wine and cider selected to pair with our food.

Carlos and his team have a lot of knowledge and answer all your questions. The cooking studio is professional and the lesson is easy to follow. The tour of the market and the explanation of the products we were going to buy was really great.

Really interesting to visit the market to buy ingredients as well as do the cooking. Carlos is a great teacher and the results were delicious!

We've done a few of these tours and this was by far the best. Carlos was so knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly and we learnt so much, as well as having fun.

Excellent course hosted by Carlos - an extremely knowledgeable,skilled, and engaging chef. Very enjoyable and I learned a lot. Very happy to recommend this experience.
