Lieu de la réunion/Information sur le transport et heure de la réunion : Il y a deux centres de croisière à Roatan. Les directions pour les deux endroits sont énumérées ci-dessous. Veuillez quitter votre navire une heure à votre arrivée au port et vous rendre à la zone de rendez-vous désignée ci-dessous pour vous enregistrer auprès de votre représentant. TERMINAL DE CROISIÈRE MAHOGANY BAY & PORT ISLA TROPICALE : Sortez du navire et remontez le chemin principal pour entrer dans la zone shopping. Continuez après les fontaines, à travers la zone shopping, jusqu'au bâtiment avec un toit rouge à droite. Entrez dans ce bâtiment et marchez jusqu'au bout où le taxi blanc se gare. Tournez à gauche et montez la colline. Vous verrez une GRANDE barrière de SÉCURITÉ VERTE. Passez la porte et descendez la colline. Votre Guide Detour Roatan sera sur la droite avec un panneau Detour Roatan et votre nom & information. Le Guide vous enregistrera et vous conduira à votre navette. Save your money and go elsewhere. French Key charges $69 per person plus an 18% fee if you use a credit card, and the boat ride is only about five minutes. Once you get there, the experience is almost identical to the resort beaches, so you are paying a premium for very little difference. Stay at the resort instead.
You purchased the most basic or discovery package and received everything listed in the voucher and customizations. The boat ride to the private island is not a tour but a quick transport ride over from the main island and it takes less than 5 minutes. They charge standard Honduran sales tax which I'm sure they explained to you as they do with all guests. We had multiple bookings doing the same package as you and they reported no such issues or problems. Thank you!
Great Day very relaxing food was good.Loved the lagoon. It was very calm to swim in . Real clear water. Was like being in Paradise. Wish you could play with the monkeys . I remember when they were free to roam. I really enjoyed that.
Having been to Big French Key (BFK), I hoped the cruise line would offer the excursion. When they didn’t, we chose Viator, but only found LFK. This tour cost more than the previous one from the cruise line & offered us much less. From the get-go this one was a mess! We were instructed to meet Jerry outside the port. Unfortunately, Jerry was at Mahogany Bay, so he made arrangements for us to get private transport with the lady that was working Coxen Hole. What a fiasco! We were the first there & the last to leave. The woman was angry and barking at her drivers, cussed one out right in front of us & it just kept getting more crowded by the minute. We only had 4.5 hours there & she wasted one full hour fussing at people & no vehicles were arriving! We finally got our vehicle & she put other people in it! We waited again. Our private transport turned into a packed van. The ride is mercifully short and once we arrived the area is truly beautiful. The description said we’d have access to kayaks & paddle boards. We didn’t. On the previous tour that I purchased from MSC, I paid $10 less, had lunch & drinks included & access to the kayaks & boards. Our ride was where they said they’d be when they said they’d be there & the whole experience was very nice. This one? Not so much.
You people left in a private vehicle on time and before other reservations and bookings. We had 5 other bookings from Viator alone doing the same tour and package and yet none of them mentioned any issues with check in or the port or anyone 'cussin' other people off as you so eloquently put it. No one reported long wait time or staff members being rude or acting ignorant. You guys are well aware that you booked and reserved the discovery or basic package which includes, round trip transportation, access to private island, the park and rescue, beach chairs and a la carte menu only. No food or drinks included in the package and no paddle boards or snorkel equipment included. All other packages above the discovery/basic package include access to snorkel gear and boards and some form of meal or drink combo that you can clearly see and read on the tour page and tour package options. Please do not invent or lie about the packages or locations we offer because you have a grievance with something else. We hope you had a wonderful time on the island of Roatan.
Could have spent all day there. Some things could use a little fixing, such as chairs, hammocks & swings and many areas of the docks. We were assigned a server, not sure of thats how it always work. Long wait times for drinks and food. Would have preferred to be able to just walk up to the bar and order ourselves.

Beautiful place, but, the food was precooked and wrapped in plastic (cold), the selection of drinks was poor and did not include any premium quality (drinks were mixed with juices and premade, served in Dixie cups); beer selection only included local, however they had imports at additional cost. Way over priced at $144.50 pp. Learned my lesson and will research any future bookings. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
The location is certainly beautiful! We had 11 other bookings doing the same package as you reserved. They all understood the package they booked and reported no issues or problems. All meals come out of an active and operating kitchen with a full staff. Nothing is pre made or packaged. You people are well aware of the two free drinks the package offers are "well" drinks or local beer only. The package does not offer imported beer or top shelf drink options for free as you can clearly see and read in the tour page and tour options offered. I suggest reading tour pages clearly next time. The driver was very friendly and helpful. Even stopped at store for us to buy some snacks. But the island itself wasn’t worth the money. The water was really dirty , doesn’t look like the pictures at all. It was nice to experience but it was a disappointment. Stay on west bay beach , it’s the best
We wish we had more to time hang out and enjoy all that LFK had to offer on our day at Roatan. The staff was all very friendly, there was plenty of activities and things to do while there. We look forward to coming back.
I booked the VIP Package so I could do everything(snorkeling off a boat, play with pigs in water, ride horse, have massage, and lunch and drinks). I was treated very special from the moment I arrived! Staff were super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this excursion!!
