Wow!! Max was an absolute delight. He engaged all of us (kids and adults) with expansive knowledge of the pieces, the history of the museum, and nearly everything else. This was a gem of an experience!

Max was awesome! The three hours we spent with him (well, minus toilet time) just flew by. We learned a lot, saw the highlights - especially of Rembrandt and Vermeer, but also others - and were thoroughly satisfied. Highly recommended, well worth the cost.

The Rijksmuseum has an outstanding collection of the Dutch Masters, and Max gave us a lot of the inside story of the symbolism in the paintings, the relationships between the artists and their patrons, and so on..
