Montez à bord d'une Big Red Jeeps pour visiter la maison ancestrale de la bande Agua Caliente des Indiens Cahuilla, où de superbes formations rocheuses et les verts contrastés de magnifiques palmiers et plus de 150 espèces de plantes attirent les voyageurs vers ces oasis de palmiers luxuriantes. Au cours de votre aventure, un guide professionnel vous éduquera et vous divertira avec des histoires sur l'histoire, la culture, le mode de vie et les légendes du peuple Cahuilla. Profitez d'une randonnée guidée de 1,6 km sur un sentier tranquille le long des rives d'Andreas Creek pendant que votre guide décrit les cérémonies et les légendes du peuple Cahuilla et explique comment il a utilisé les plantes du désert pour survivre. Ensuite, admirez l'une des plus grandes oasis naturelles de palmiers d'Amérique du Nord depuis le bord de Palm Canyon et profitez d'une courte promenade jusqu'à une grotte d'eau cachée où l'eau coule presque toute l'année.

- Des chaussures à bout fermé, un chapeau et un écran solaire sont vivement conseillés

- Veuillez appeler le bureau de réservation un jour ou deux avant votre visite pour confirmer votre heure et lieu de prise en charge. Le fait de ne pas appeler, cependant, n'entraînera PAS l'annulation de la visite.

Fun leisurely tour of India Canyons. Christopher is a true naturalist was so knowledgeable about the history of the region. We would recommend this tour for other families too!
Jennie was simply awesome. She took 6 adults on this tour on 12/31 and it was great. She is so knowledgeable but, more importantly, she is so genuinely interested in the area we hiked, the foliage, the history, and the culture. She was able to bring the area to life for us and help us understand the past and the present. The first hike was about a mile - you need sturdy shoes but it is not extremely rigorous and is suitable for all ages. The second hike was shorter and involved some basic bouldering which you can opt out of if you feel it is beyond your comfort zone. We feel fortunate to have been able to spend a little bit of time in Indian Canyon. Thanks!

Indian Canyons was a super excursion. The oasis in the desert needs to be seen if you are in the Palm Springs area. Jim was super knowledgable and solicitous. I would recommend to anyone but especially older folks with more limited mobility.
Great tour, guide was very knowledgeable. There was a lot to see on the trails and the scenery was beautiful. Highly recommended.

We had a great trip. Although there was a snag. Our trip with the red Jeep was scheduled for 1pm. They received reservation at 8am. When they called because we late. I told them we had confirmation at 1pm. They scrambled and took good care of us. We had a great trip
In Palm Springs for a sister birthday weekend, wanted to do a Joshua tree tour and accidentally booked this one. We had such a great time! Michael L. Was our tour guide and was so personable and knowledgeable about the canyons and flora and fauna. We had a wonderful time, would highly recommend.

A fun trip with an amazing guide. Travis gave us great information during the Jeep tour and the hike. My teen children were fascinated and said “it was not boring at all!” (If you have teens, you KNOW THIS IS A GREAT COMPLIMENT). Travis gave us good restaurant recommendations. I have no hesitation in recommending them!!

We had a great time. Learned lots about Palm Springs history, native Indians, geography and flora and fauna. It was a ton of fun and very interesting.
My wife set up our trip to the red Jeep tours so I didn’t really know what to expect. One thing is for sure, I didn’t expect that our guide and driver, Rick, would be teaching me so much about the area and its people in just a three hour time frame. I felt like I learned more during this trip than some of my college classes. We saw canyons that are truly fitting of Hollywood movies, it was impressive. I even have to admit my back wasn’t feeling great from the shenanigans the day before, but I made it through just fine, our driver knew what he was doing. I love to learn and have a little adventure, and this definitely checked both boxes. Thank you again Rick!!
