Veuillez noter : cette visite est indisponible de décembre à février en raison du temps glacial à haute altitude. Pendant ces mois, faites notre visite panoramique de Joshua Tree dans notre van chauffé. Il fait souvent 20-30°F plus frais dans le parc, habillez-vous en couches! Partez du Palm Springs Art Museum à 8h30 (avec une navette panoramique et climatisée) ou économisez avec notre centre d'accueil de la vallée de Yucca départ où la partie en plein air commence. La visite complète dure environ 5 heures en prenant notre navette. Explorez de superbes paysages désertiques avec un Guide agréé par le Parc national et découvrez l'écologie et l'histoire uniques de la région. Notre van navette vous emmènera à la ville de Joshua Tree où nous échangeons contre notre Hummer militaire H - 1 pour compléter votre aventure. Nous montons au sommet d'un belvédère à couper le souffle appelé Keys Point qui vous donnera une vue imprenable sur la vallée en contrebas et une vue qui s'étend jusqu'au Mexique.
Admirez une vue qui s'étend sur des centaines de kilomètres. De ce point culminant de Joshua Tree, vous pouvez voir jusqu'à la mer de Salton et jusqu'au Mexique par temps clair. Vous pourrez peut-être même distinguer votre hôtel sur cet escarpement qui borde la célèbre faille de San Andreas. Regardez sous ce rebord où nous nous arrêterons et vous verrez la ligne de faille elle-même qui s'étend sur plus de 800 milles.
Nous proposons une promenade facultative d'un kilomètre sur cette vue qui serpente à travers une beauté à couper le souffle qui comprend les formations de granit monzo de Joshua Tree ainsi que des forêts de ces plantes anciennes qui ont survécu à l'ère glaciaire. Votre guide Hummer vous accompagnera dans cette région. Il s'agit d'un guide certifié Wilderness formé à la géologie de cette région et au courant de son histoire amérindienne plus récente.
Cela vous offre une promenade facultative supplémentaire d'un demi-mile qui vous fait une boucle autour de formations rocheuses précaires qui s'équilibrent les unes sur les autres. C'est l'une des zones les plus photographiées du parc et mérite bien une halte et une visite. N'oubliez pas vos caméras !

If you've ever wondered "Why is a desert considered worthy of being a national park?" -- this Hummer Tour is for you! Our guide Tom was super friendly and knowledgeable. We went in the middle of July--yes, the middle of July and had the park to ourselves. The weather was exceptional. Yes, it was hot, but we're from Atlanta and Georgia summers are way worse than dry 99 degrees. Tom provided great stories, music, water, and a snack-- the scenery provided the rest. Don't hesitate to go. The money is well worth it.

The Joshua Tree National Park van tour was great from start to finish. Eddie our driver and tour guide was fantastic. He was friendly and knowledgeable. We stopped at great photo spots throughout the park. There were several kids on our tour and Eddie interacted well with them and made the tour interesting to them.

One of the best tours I have never been on. Austin was awesome, he had great communication, was on time, had amazing recommendations, and was extremely knowledgeable! He was also super friendly and a great driver! Joshua tree was beautiful and we got lucky with the weather, making it a perfect day out in the desert. The hummer was so comfy and a blast to be in. Book this immediately!

What a beautiful place to spend the morning! The park is amazing and truly a testament of God's creation. Our tour guide, Tom, was the best. Our driver, Tom, was excellent. Had some very informative facts about Joshua Tree, national Park and the area in general. The Hummer itself was okay, but my wife and I ended up picking the worst two seats to have. I asked Dave off to the side if we could maybe switch around some at some point and he said sure. Sure enough, later in the trip he said we should switch up seats so we got a better view for the last half. We went on an easy nature walk during the trip and had a chance to do a little bit of walking around on some of the cooler rock formations. Definitely worth the effort to take this trip.

This was a great tour and adventure. Austin made the rides to and from, as well as the tour itself, informative, engaging and enjoyable. It was nice to stop at the visitor center as well. The stops on the tour were amazing, and Austin was a wealth of information.
