The main reason why I chose this tour was that it did not only include a short photo stop at the pyramid of Cholula, but a morning in the town itself. Our guide and driver Carlos gave us an excellent introduction of the town's history focusing on the event surrounding Cortez. The churches we visited had all their unique touch (one reminiscent of the islamic mosques in Andalusia). We did climb the pyramid itself for an excellent view of the town and Puebla in the distance. In Publa the rosary chapel of the former Dominican convent was outstanding. On the way to Cholula we stopped for a short coffee where we were lucky enough to see the smokes coming of the snow covered Popocatepetl volcano. Overall a very exciting day out of Mexico City.
Our lovely guide Jamie showed us so many wonderful sites in Cholula and Puebla. We were able to go into several beautiful churches in both places. Thank you Jamie are touring us to these amazing places outside of Mexico City. I highly recommend this tour and especially highly recommend Jamie.
We took a day trip from Mexico City to see the beautiful Puebla/Chulula areas. It was a long drive but worth it. The mountains are beautiful and when we got out of the city, the traffic wasn’t bad. Jaime was our guide. He was so nice and suggested things we should see, restaurants to try unfortuamtly, I got sick and had to cut the trip short. Jaime was so understanding and kind. Overall, beautiful sites, charming old downtown areas, friendly people. Great day overall.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear that the beauty of Puebla and Cholula made the journey worthwhile — the mountains, the historic streets, and the atmosphere there are truly special. We’re especially grateful for your kind words about Jaime. He always tries to make each day feel comfortable and personal, and we’re touched to know his patience and care supported you when you began feeling unwell. We’re sorry the day couldn’t continue as planned, but we’re very happy that you still had the chance to enjoy some of the charm and warmth of the region. Whenever you’re feeling better and Mexico calls you back, we’d love to help you continue exploring — at your own pace and in full comfort. Wishing you good health and many memorable travels ahead. 🌄💛🌿 Warm regards, Stepping Mexico
General sightseeing tour, good car , guide is Ok. Was on Monday, so some museums were closed , that’s something to bear in mind and what ideally should be told beforehand.
Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the sightseeing and felt comfortable during the tour, and we appreciate your comments regarding the day of the visit. You’re absolutely right — many museums in Mexico City are closed on Mondays, and this is something we always aim to communicate clearly ahead of time so guests can plan accordingly. We’re sorry if this wasn’t made fully clear before your tour. Your feedback is truly helpful, and we’ll use it to make sure we share this information even more proactively moving forward. Thank you again for spending the day with us. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back on a day when the museums are open — there is so much more we’d love to show you. 🌿✨ Warm regards, Stepping Mexico
Jaime was terrific. He bought my kids ice-cream, was attentive and helped us find bathrooms, took his time and explained thoroughly. I recommend this tour highly.
The destinations were interesting and worthwhile, but the tour itself was good rather than great, as the guide lacked depth. Additionally, some small yet important details were overlooked—such as the promised snacks, which were never provided, and water, which was only offered on the return trip to CDMX.
My wife and me were picked up this morning on the dot and and had our tour with Carlos who drove us and was our guide for our entire day. Fantastic experience, in particular as Carlos was extremely knowledgeable (and patient) with myself constantly asking about whatever I wanted to know about Mexico's history and present affairs. Having the option to have the guide just focus on ourselves was certainly worth it.
My trip to Mexico City was wonderful. What made it even better was the guided tour we took to the Pyramids. It was a great tour. Our guide, Jaime, was a knowledgeable, polite gentleman with lots of historical stories and facts. Overall the best tour guide we had ever met.
Jamie was an excellent guide, sensitive to what our interests are. His explanations were clear. His enthusiasm contagious. His warm personality and sense of humor added to our experience. We felt we were able to understand Mexico through his eyes! One of the best guides we have ever had anywhere!
Very interesting tour and certainly worth visiting for the many churches. Carlos was very knowledgeable about the history and gave us time for shopping. Unfortunately the pyramid tunnels are closed, but the history around the church architecture was interesting. Good views of Popocatépetl.
