Explorez la faune et la flore diverses qui abritent cet écosystème désertique unique et apprenez-en davantage sur la géologie. Guidé par un naturaliste californien Certifié qui vous conduira dans un voyage à travers le désert, en vous indiquant des plantes, des animaux et des formations géologiques intéressantes tout au long du chemin. Préparez-vous à être émerveillé par la beauté naturelle de Joshua Tree! La randonnée est d'environ 2 miles aller-retour. Alors que la majeure partie de la randonnée est plate, préparez-vous à randonner sur des terrains sableux, graveleux et légèrement vallonnés. Les visites en milieu de semaine n'ont souvent qu'un seul groupe/famille donc vous pouvez obtenir une visite privée! Fantastic experience. Sharon was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and especially the plant life. I guess I booked during a time that wasn't too popular because it was just me. I felt like a had a private tour! Would definitely recommend!

This guided walk was a great way to learn about the plants and animals in the park. Sharon was in communication prior to meeting up, and answered last minute questions promptly. We learned quite a bit on our walk. It was educational, not exercise, so set expectations accordingly. It was a great way to start our visit in Joshua Tree.

We enjoyed this walk through the desert with Sharon, who explained the local desert geology, life cycle of the Joshua trees, identified flowers and animal scat and lizards and anything else that we came across. The trail was sand or packed sand and the walk was not strenuous. Our group was small so there was time for lots of questions and conversation. I think this was an excellent introduction to the area. The guide also had information about other places in the area to visit and things to do.

Sharon was a great guide, she was very knowledgeable and informative. The area was beautiful and unique area to explore. We are in our mid-60s and had no issues keeping up.
