Commencez votre voyage au parc national de Cahuita, l’une des réserves côtières les plus riches en biodiversité du pays. Profitez d'une promenade guidée le long de sentiers plats et ombragés, parfaits pour observer des singes, des paresseux, des ratons laveurs, des iguanes, des papillons et une variété d'oiseaux tropicaux, tout en profitant de la vue sur la mer turquoise des Caraïbes. Après votre expérience dans la jungle, rendez-vous dans les terres pour visiter une cascade cachée, où vous pourrez vous rafraîchir avec une baignade rafraîchissante ou simplement vous détendre dans la tranquillité de la nature.

Faites un arrêt dans un stand de fruits local pour découvrir certaines des friandises tropicales les plus emblématiques du Costa Rica. Savourez l'ananas sucré, la papaye juteuse, les mini bananes, les platanitos croustillants, la pastèque rafraîchissante et la noix de coco fraîchement coupée. Vous aurez également l’occasion de goûter au café costaricien onctueux, réputé dans le monde entier pour sa qualité et sa riche saveur.
Nous longerons la côte caraïbe pour rejoindre Cahuita. En chemin, vous passerez devant des plantations de bananes et profiterez de vues panoramiques sur la vie rurale de la région.
Ce sentier panoramique de 2 kilomètres vous emmène dans une promenade guidée à travers une forêt secondaire luxuriante, offrant la chance de découvrir de près la riche biodiversité du Costa Rica. En chemin, vous apprécierez de magnifiques paysages et une variété de faune et de flore tropicales. Le sentier est particulièrement connu pour ses espèces de grenouilles, y compris la grenouille fléchette rouge frappante (Oophaga pumilio), ainsi que pour les observations courantes de singes hurleurs, de capucins à face blanche et des deux espèces de paresseux du Costa Rica (à deux et trois doigts). Les amateurs d'oiseaux peuvent apercevoir des toucans, des oropendolas, des tanagers, des colibris, de grands kiskadés, et plus encore. Écureuils, papillons et autres créatures fascinantes remplissent également cet écosystème dynamique.
Nous visiterons une cascade locale et des piscines naturelles où vous pourrez vous baigner rafraîchissant dans un cadre magnifique de jungle. Apportez votre maillot de bain, votre serviette et des vêtements de rechange si vous voulez faire un plongeon.
Après une journée complète d’exploration du sud des Caraïbes, nous reprendrons le chemin du port.

Votre visite commence à l'intérieur de la jetée, où nos guides vous attendront avec un panneau indiquant votre nom. Recherchez nos chemises rouges pour une identification facile. Nous offrons un ramassage à l’intérieur de la jetée, donc il n’est pas nécessaire de marcher à l’extérieur des installations. Calendrier : Les visites sont prévues 30 minutes après les quais de votre navire, la visite la plus précoce commençant à 8h00. What an amazing tour! Guide Kim and driver Gigi were so genuinely passionate about each stop and made sure our entire experience was unforgettable. They both went above and beyond the tour description and made our previous tour in Panama look soooo bad in comparison. We saw many sloths, monkeys, and got incredible photos up close.

Walking through the rainforest is just magical. We had the chance of being with Sheyy, who explained every species we encountered. We literally tasted what the forest offered, as locals and indigenous people do. That was love at first sight. I am already missing it.

Our guide was Rishelyn, she was incredible! We have done a few guided tours while in Costa Rica but Rishelyns tour was exceptional, she really has eagle eyes! we saw so much wildlife including the tiniest baby eyelash pit viper that she spotted as well as a family of little baby bats. She was also very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna and told us about medicinal plants, trees and plants significant to the indigenous bribri culture and about the favored habitats of the animals we saw. If you are wanting to see tons of wildlife and learn more about the jungle as well I would highly recommend Rishelyn!

My friend and I we took a private tour with the most amazing tour guides and driver.yiyi and fio we’re very kind and accommodating, they educated all the way over to the falls and all the way to the national park where we saw monkeys and little tiny baby yellow snakes. They are kind and knowledgeable and very safe in our van. We highly recommend that you ask for them when you come on this tour because you will have an amazing experience and see the most beautiful parts of Costa Rica. Great Day..waterfalls are beautiful and loved that we got to swim right up to them. Our guide, Ian was so smart or courteous. We saw so many animals at the park and had a lovely seafood lunch over looking the ocean (lunch cost not included) recommend this tour.

It relatively not a big park, only one trail and lots of people. All those noisy tourists wanting to get a close up with their phones scare away the wild life. Having said that, this natural piece of land is full of beautiful unexpected flora and fauna, critters all over and guides are knowledgeable. It’s not that far from cruise terminal in Puerto Limon and locals are very friendly and polite. Beware though of locals asking for a tip to use side of stalls to take pictures of sloths. Beach is beautiful, but water can be rough and often closed for swimming. Photo ops are amazing.
