This was an outstanding and well organized trip. Oldemar was my contact person who did a phenomenal job, organizing this itinerary and facilitating the logistics. We had a fabulous time. I agree that this was the best of Costa Rica and would recommend it to anyone.

Chose this trip as it did all the places I wanted to see. Trip was excellent. Accommodation was excellent on the whole (just one place was average), I particularly liked El Encanto Hotel (Cahuita). This trip also presented better value than booking a complete package and also other than alternatives that did go to all the places this trip did (although I notice there has been a significant price increase). Only minor gripe was lack of information at the very start and some unclear.

Oldemar at Destiny Travel made our trip to Costa Rica fantastic and flawless from start to finish. One in our group likened Costa Rica to the Switzerland of Central America because everything runs on time and is so efficient. The guides at the parks are very knowledgeable and expert at spotting the animals--even sloths sleeping high in the trees. The drivers arrived on time every time and were amazing at navigating some rough roads. All the accommodations were first rate. We loved ziplining at Monteverde, horseback riding to a waterfall in the Rancho La Merced National Wildlife Refuge and boating through the canals at Tortuguero. Watching the Poas volcano's lake appear out of the mist was truly mesmerizing. Oldemar was easy to reach throughout and made sure everything was just as he had promised. The trip exceeded our expectations.
Our trip had to be entirely rescheduled two weeks prior to departure. Our travel agent was wonderful and able to rebook everything! All the drivers and guides who were with us during our stay were welcoming, knowledgable and professional. Highlights included Tortuguero NP where we stayed at Laguna Lodge, the Arenal Volcano hike where we saw monkeys, and the Poas Volcano which we got to see without clouds! We enjoyed great activities like ATV ride, Zip lining, horseback riding and hikes. All the Costa Ricans we met were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Oldemar Madrigal and Destiny Travel!
