What a fantastic experience! Our group consisted of one adult and two teenage girls (ages 13 and 15yo). Claire, our guide, asked my girls about their specific interests and tailored the tour to highlight those items/themes. She helped us " zig while others zagged" to negotiate the stifling crowds. I have been to Versailles twice before but never with a guide. It was worth every penny. There was such nuance to our tour. Things I had never noticed before were brought to my attention. (I had no idea about Marie Antoinettes private English village that she had build for her kids. Or the painting she has commissioned to help boost her reputation with the public and what was included it in or not included to convey meaning.)This never would have happened if we were not on this private tour. We had access to such personal attention with intimate details of the Palace. Our girls were enthralled and continue to speak about it as the highlight of our trip to Paris. Claires signature phrase to start the tour was to think of all three Kings as the " Sun King, the Fun King, and the Done King". This piece of history will live on in our life forever! We had a lovely time with Anna in Versailles! She was so very knowledgeable and was fantastic at leading us through and around the crowd to make the most of our visit. We really appreciate her time and am so glad we booked the tour!

Ramona was an incredible guide and expert knowledge! She was wonderfully nice and by the end of the tour we all felt as if we were friends. Her knowledge of Versailles & Giverny was exceptional, and we loved all the information she gave us. We were incredibly impressed at her knowledge of the artwork in the Versailles Place. Further she expertly pointed us in the right direction for lunch and was very flexible throughout the tour. We would be extremely happy to tour with her again.

Really special experience with access to certain areas of Versailles (Kings Private Quarters) that would not be accessible on the regular tour. A really knowledgeable guide with a depth of knowledge that brought history to life.

This was a great tour! We got exclusive access to the King's apartment, plus toured the entire palace in this semi-private tour. Vivianne was a warm and knowledgable guide. She made the tour a lot of fun, and we learned a lot! She is a great person to share this experience with. We were able to wander the palace and gardens on our own after Vivianne's tour. We would gladly take another Liv Tour, especially with Vivianne, when we return to Paris.

Vivienne did an amazing job of showing us around Versailles, and reading the body language of my 13-year-old boys who weren't interested in too much detail about the art:) They loved seeing the gardens and fountains! I'm happy we did this as a private tour. It was fairly crowded, and some of the spaces were too tight to easily move through with a larger group. I'd give Versailles 3.5 stars, but I'd rate Vivienne as 5 stars.
