Visite privée : visite à pied de Rotterdam avec croisière dans le port

Description

Our guide was knowledgeable and had interesting pictures of early Rotterdam to show us. He was friendly, warm and welcoming. We had a wonderful afternoon with him exploring the highlights of beautiful Rotterdam. The harbor cruise was the lowlight of the day. It was an hour of sailing past container ships and a working port.
An excellent personnalized tour that offered a complete picture of this charming city, Rotterdam. We had a great experienced guide that offered us excellent insight of the history of the city.
Skip was absolutely wonderful. We have had knowledgeable guides (Skip was one of the best) but he was also kind. He put Rotterdams history in context which allowed us to understand the people, past and present. We can't thank him enoigh!
We met Adrien at 2:00 pm at our hotel and he explained much of the history of the city while we explored on foot through old and new Rotterdam. We stopped for fresh Stroop waffles at the Market and awed the amazing, often curious, architecture of Rotterdam, including the peculiar Cube Houses. All at a pace we were comfortable with, given it was a private tour. After 3 hours of walking, with brief stops, we were grateful to board the leisurely harbor cruise at 5:00 pm, where our guide departed. The Rotterdam Harbor is enormous and the cruise lasted 75 minutes. Great overall experience. Wear comfortable shoes!!
Our tour was cancelled 1 day before our booked date. Rebooking did not work as we were not going to be close by. We are still waiting for our credit on our visa
We LOVED our walking tour of Rotterdam. Our guide, Niels, was brilliant - hugely knowledgable, entertaining and the time flew by as he walked and talked us through Rotterdam's rich history, fascinating culture, beautiful architecture, cool street art and pointed out a few places for us to visit too as well as some personal anecdotes.
Our private tour of 14 people was planned well. Harold, our guide was personable and knowledgeable. We enjoyed seeing the many sides of Rotterdam and faces of its architecture. Meeting him in town, since there was a free bus provided from our cruise port to city center was a good idea, since there was no backtracking. Having come in through the harbor on our cruise ship this Spido cruise was not necessary. While the boat was comfortable and fast, the audio tour on speakers throughout was difficult to follow/ keep interest. It was in several languages and quite monotoned. With limited time in the city, we would have enjoyed some time on our own to explore, ( as did one couple with foresight to leave /skip harbor cruise ) but instead had to return to our ship shortly after tour ended.
A walk and cruise through the center and harbor of Rotterdam, my hometown, shows you a great diversity of modern architecture Rotterdam was bombed in the second world war, which wiped out the entire center The image of Zadkin with the hole in his hull symbolizes that.
It was my second trip to Holland. This time with my kids. We have been all week in Rotterdam, a great city, with a lot to see. Ideal for traveling with children, because of the number of green areas it has. The city with the most trees.
It is a visit that you have to make in Rotterdam for the original of these houses and get an idea of how you live inside
