Christos did a fantastic job sharing the history of the area with us. He was very accommodating, stopping along the way to get photos and letting us appreciate the beauty of the landscape. He was very friendly, informative, and punctual. Would definitely recommend!!

Our all day tour with Christos was wonderful. He’s local and has a deep knowledge of the sites, the area the history and can provide all of it with just the right amount of detail without going on and on about things you don’t care about When there are areas you do care about he can dig in Very nice guy very positive very helpful would highly recommend!

Christos was a wonderful tour guide for us. He shared a lot of history about the monasteries, monks and nuns. He‘s also from the area and pointed out some of the hikers and rock climbers. It was a beautiful day and he was always there to answer our questions.

We had an amazing one-day tour of Meteora, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Greece. The landscapes are absolutely breathtaking, and visiting the monasteries perched on top of the cliffs felt truly magical. What made the experience even better was our excellent local guide. They were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Meteora’s history and culture. We learned so much about the monasteries, the monks’ way of life, and the unique geology of the area. The guide also made sure we had enough time to enjoy each stop, take photos, and never feel rushed. The tour was very well organized, comfortable, and smooth from start to finish. Everything was clearly explained, and we felt well taken care of throughout the day. I highly recommend this Meteora day tour to anyone visiting Greece—especially with a local guide like ours, who truly brought this incredible place to life!

The experience of visiting Meteora was absolutely spectacular and mind-blowing! Such an incredible place, like nothing else I've ever experienced. The ride there and back on the bus was very long and could have been made more comfortable (I wasn't overly impressed with the attitude of the drivers if I'm being honest and the service from that perspective left a lot to be desired) but once we arrived in Kalambaka and met up with our tour guide Clemens, everything was very good - Clemens was very knowledgeable and entertaining and just a great communicator from the moment he stepped on the bus. Very large crowds at each stop and limited time due to the nature of the tour, but still an unforgettable experience.

We highly recommend Meteora Thrones Travel Center their service has been amazing from the time I booked the tour, to the questions I had before the day and to the actual day itself. Our tour guide Eugenia was fantastic, her knowledge of the area and history was first class, a lovely young lady. Our driver Stefanos was also fantastic and made us feel relaxed driving to each of the monasteries and around the local area. Highly recommend doing a private tour as it’s so much easy being driven and not have to worry about the parking, plus they know where to stop for the best photo opportunities. The monasteries itself are well worth a visit and only cost €5 per person, this is the only extra cost you need to pay after the initial tour booking fee. The scenery is breathtaking and the monasteries are amazing built on top of the rocks, well worth a visit, best tour in Greece :)
