San Gimignano – Le Manhattan médiéval En approchant de San Gimignano, la vue change encore : sur les vertes collines toscanes, s'élèvent vers le ciel les tours vertigineuses qui ont rendu cette ville célèbre dans le monde entier. Symbole ancien de puissance et de prestige, les tours de San Gimignano sont comme des doigts de pierre pointés vers le ciel, racontant l'histoire d'une ville prospère et ambitieuse au cœur du Moyen Âge. Le cœur de la ville est la Piazza della Cisterna, pavée en chevrons, entourée de bâtiments historiques et dominée par la Tour du Diable. Un peu plus loin, la Piazza del Duomo, avec la Collégiale et l'Hôtel de Ville, offre des fresques de l'école siennoise et une vue spectaculaire depuis la Torre Grossa, la plus haute tour de la ville.

I booked the private half-day tour to Chianti and San Gimignano, and it was one of the highlights of my vacation in Italy. The van was spotless and very comfortable. Shout out to our guide, Asil! San Gimignano is fascinating, our driver was very kind and when we arrived he gave us a lot of really useful information, we tasted a delicious ice cream and after visiting this beautiful city we went to the winery for the tasting and during the trip we took many photos. Sublime wine and the owner really kind and competent, thank you for this wonderful afternoon.
