Jason was very warm and accommodating. The tour was relaxed, informative and tailored for our needs. The weather was sweltering hot which put great challenge into the tour but he remained composed and engaged. He went through the details without giving too much which was how kids need them as we were with young kids. Definitely learned so much with this tour about South Korea and its history. Definitely recommended.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. We are delighted to hear that your family had a meaningful time exploring Korean history despite the sweltering heat. Keeping young children engaged while maintaining a relaxing pace can be challenging, so we are glad to know that the tour was tailored comfortably to your family’s needs. We truly appreciate your kind recommendation and hope to welcome you all back on your next visit!
Lee was kind enough to pick us up at the Busan train station and drop us at our hotel at the end of the tour. He was flexible and asked us what we wanted to see. We deferred to his expertise. The drive to Gyeongju took an hour and half during which time he shared the history of the Buddhist temple and answered our questions about his life in South Korea. We enjoyed all the stops - and he took us to his favorite place for a yummy lunch (not included) - and found him very personable.
Thank you so much for this wonderful review! It sounds like Lee made your journey from Busan to Gyeongju feel like part of the experience itself — sharing the history of the Buddhist temple and answering your questions about life in Korea during the drive is such a thoughtful touch that really sets the tone for the whole day.We love that he tailored the itinerary entirely to your preferences, and that his local expertise led you to his personal favourite lunch spot. Those kinds of genuine, off-the-beaten-path recommendations are what make a private tour truly special. From the pickup at Busan Station to the drop-off at your hotel, it sounds like Lee took wonderful care of you every step of the way. We are so glad you found him personable and that the whole day exceeded your expectations. We truly hope to welcome you back to Gyeongju someday!
We had a really great experience with Alan, our tour guide! His english was easy to understand and he told us interesting information about the sites we went to. He was also very communicative. When he gave us free time to walk around the sites, he was very clear about when and where to meet. Also, he was clear about which sites we were going to visit next, which sites we could choose from and how much time we had left for visiting the remaining sites. Furthermore, he helped us with finding a restaurant where we could eat local food. He even helped us with translating what we wanted to order! Because of him, we had the opportunity to eat authentic Gyeongjun food! I totally recommend this tour!
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed and thoughtful review — it truly made our day! We are so glad to hear that Alan made your Gyeongju experience so enjoyable and smooth from start to finish. Clear communication is so important, especially when exploring a new city, and it sounds like Alan handled everything beautifully — from keeping you informed about the itinerary and meeting points, to giving you the freedom to explore at your own pace while always making sure no one was left wondering what came next. And what a wonderful bonus that he was able to help you find a great local restaurant and even assist with translating the menu! Experiencing truly authentic Gyeongju cuisine is one of those moments that stays with you long after the trip, and we are thrilled Alan was able to make that happen for you. Reviews like yours remind us why we are so passionate about what we do, and Alan will be so touched to hear how much his efforts were appreciated. We truly hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Gyeongju — or anywhere else in Korea — someday!

Our family of two parents, two teens, and my dad were very lucky to have Joy as our guide! Joy was born and raised in Gyeongju, which is also where my ancestors are from! It was already special just to be here to connect with our heritage, but Joy’s spectacular tour made it 100x better. This was a private tour led by Mia who is amazing! She drove us around Gyeongju! It happened to be Buddha's birthday and all the Temples and streets were lined with cute lanterns. Mia is very knowledgeable about what she was presenting to us and carried around pictures for certain places/things that we couldn't take pictures of (respect for the temples). She took us to lunch at a traditional Korean restaurant which was a 10/10 experience, the staff were all accommodating to dietary restrictions & great customer service! If I had to do trip again, I'd definitely book with Mia!
