I had a wonderful tour with Saber. He helped coordinate where to meet, and he took me on a tour of the Medina. He was able to customize the experience based on my interests, and I was able to learn about this incredible place.
Saber was an excellent and knowledgeable guide who gave us a tour of the Kashba which was very interesting and informative. We learned about the Muslim culture and the history of Tunis. He took us to a special cafe where we had their wonder mint tea. We were 3 seniors and he paced the walk through the area comfortable despite the intense heat. Definitely the best way to experience the old part of Tunis.
I concur with other reviewers. Saber’s tour of the Medina will be a highlight of your visit to Tunis. He expertly explained its cultural and political significance across the ages, and we took in the design and architecture of former palaces and laneways. You will have insights that are hard to obtain without his guidance. As a solo female traveller, I felt respected and supported throughout.
We learned so much about Tunisia/Tunis from our guide, Sabar. He was so knowledgeable and nice. We got our money’s worth for sure! Highly recommend
We booked the guided tour of the medina of Tunis Offered by Saber ARRAKI, this Tuesday, February 24th. My mother and I would like to acknowledge Saber’s professionalism and kindness, which allowed us to discover and appreciate Tunisian culture and the beauty of this medina and this city. We were delighted to be able to discover these places and stories through Saber’s eyes! Once again, thank you, Aychek! And see you next time maybe ☺️🐫🇹🇳
Book Saber Now!! You will not be disappointed. His English is great and easy to understand. His knowledge of the area can't be beat. Working with him to get the exact trip we were looking for was easy and Saber made it all happen. I asked to see places where there wouldn't be the crowds and 'Hidden Gems', we got just that. The only place where we saw tour groups was briefly at the Bazar but only in passing. He took us to the traditional vendors who were able to show you how and what they made. Saber has friends everywhere and can show you the city that tourists don't see. I couldn't have imagined a better day. We came in on a rainy day that could have ruined the experience but he made sure to adjust the day to keep us dry. What more can you ask! I highly recommend booking your trip with Saber. You will be happy you did.
Highly recommended. After half a day in the medina with Saber we had a good working knowledge of the history of Tunis and of the souks, and an overview of the different trades and professions practised there. The hat-makers' souk (Souk Echaouachia) was particularly interesting. Saber conveyed all this information in an easy, non-didactic manner, in impeccable English, and still managed to sound enthusiastic even though he must have done this tour scores of times.
A passionate and super competent national guide. He possesses the rare gift of knowing how to convey love for his country with commendable elegance and discretion. For anyone who wants a higher quality trip, Saber is, without a doubt, the absolute reference point in Tunisia.
The best guide you will find in Tunisia: competent, passionate, smiling and helpful. In addition to speaking excellent Italian. We will definitely return to Tunisia and choose Saber again for more tours: the country is rich in priceless treasures and sites of historical and cultural interest.
Sabers tour of the Medina was absolutely phenomenal. We got the opportunity to see, experience, and understand areas and aspects of the Medina that we never would have on our own. A perfect blend of sightseeing, history and experience. Saber also went the extra mile and arranged a special birthday surprise! We would 100% recommend a tour of the Medina with Saber to make your experience of Tunis totally unforgettable
