Vous aurez la chance de visiter Sepilok Orang Utan, une occasion de voir les orangs-outans de près dans leur habitat naturel. L'ours Bornean Sun est un centre de sauvetage et de réhabilitation de l'ours soleil en cours de développement à Sabah, dans l'État de Bornéo en Malaisie. Rainforest Discovery Centre est passé d’un petit centre d’éducation environnementale (EE) en 1996 à l’un des centres les plus populaires de Sabah.

Notre guide viendra vous chercher vers 8h de votre hôtel ou de votre aéroport. Rendez-vous au premier arrêt au centre de réadaptation Sepilok Orang Utan. Il a été créé en 1964 pour ramener les "singes orphelins dans la nature" orphelins. Le centre était administré par la section de la faune du département des forêts qui, en 1988, a été transformée en département relevant du ministère du Tourisme et du Développement de l'environnement. Toute l'administration et la gestion ont été confiées au nouveau département de la faune sauvage de Sabah. À 10 h 00, rendez-vous au quai B, observez le plus proche parent de l'homme a 'les Orang Utans en train de se réhabiliter pour devenir sauvage dans leur habitat naturel et expérimentez une promenade dans la forêt tropicale de diptères des basses terres de Bornéo, puis regardez un documentaire vidéo de 25 minutes .
Ensuite, rendez-vous au Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Center, promouvez la conservation de l'ours du soleil à Bornéo par le bien-être des animaux, la conservation, la réhabilitation, l'éducation et la recherche - donnez aux ours capturés un toit meilleur et restaurez leur droit de vivre à l'état sauvage, en créant confisquer, réhabiliter et relâcher dans la nature des ours orphelins et ex-captifs appropriés et créer un environnement de vie amélioré à long terme pour les ours en captivité qui ne peuvent pas être relâchés. Eduquer le public et sensibiliser sur cette espèce. Atteindre une protection accrue des ours du soleil et de leur habitat grâce à des recherches en cours, à une connaissance et une sensibilisation accrues et à une protection accrue de l'habitat. Enfin, visitez le Rain Forest Discovery Center. C’est la porte d’entrée pour mieux comprendre le caractère unique et l’importance des forêts tropicales humides de Bornéo. Situés à 23 km de la ville de Sandakan et non loin du centre de réhabilitation Sepilok, les principaux centres d’exposition du RDC sont ses salles d’exposition, le Plant Discovery Garden, la réserve forestière Kabili-Sepilok, des programmes d’éducation environnementale et un petit lac pour les promenades en bateau. Le CDR offre également aux visiteurs une occasion de se familiariser avec la nature grâce à son programme Nature Experience, qui comprend une promenade guidée au jardin Plant Discovery, à la Rainforest Walk et à des activités intérieures / extérieures. Après avoir terminé les visites mentionnées ci-dessus, nous vous déposerons à l'aéroport de Sandakan ou à votre hôtel respectif (zone urbaine uniquement).

Ruined the trip of a lifetime, I had arranged flights from Kota Kinabalu at 06:45 in the morning, meaning a very early start for my family including my 3 kids. Just past midnight, 6 hours before our flight time, the tour operator cancelled our tour. No way to contact them, even though I had paid fully in advance and booked the trip over 2 weeks in advance. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
We had a lovely time and our driver was very helpful getting us there on time and purchasing our tickets, but honestly it would have been much more cost effective to get a Grab for the day and buy our own tickets and lunch.
We had the pleasure of having Siti as our guide on the tour. Our driver Ahmed was very friendly and picked us up from our hotel at the stated time. He then picked up Siti and from the moment we met her she was friendly, informative and a pleasure to be around. I really enjoyed chatting to her as we walked around the Ornagutan rescue, the sun bear sanctuary and the rainforest discovery centre. She also told us useful information and interesting facts. She wasn’t too overbearing and knew when to just let us chat amongst ourselves. By the end of the day we all felt very glad that we’d met her! Would definitely recommend both Siti and Ahmed, together the dream team! And of course seeing the animals and especially the orangutans close up was incredible.

We tried to contact them prior to confirm the pickup location but they did not respond . We even contacted Viator who also could not get in contact with them. On the day we waited for them to pick us up but no one came. We then contacted Viator and filed a complaint. After the complaint they finally got back to us and basically lied by saying they were waiting for us at the hotel.
Amazing tour got to see lots of wildlife with an awesome guide and driver Sitti and JaJa, Cannot recommend enough, lunch was fantastic also, a must do tour if you come to Sandakan
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and seeing the Orangutans and Sunbears was a highlight of our trip. Our guide Siti and driver Agus were excellent, both being knowledgeable, friendly and professional, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Siti has extensive knowledge of the rainforest and flora and fauna, and the work being done to preserve the animals and plants, and was more than happy to share her knowledge and insights with us. Siti is very observant and has a keen eye and was able to point out a lot of animal and birdlife that we would otherwise have missed. She was kind and patient and tailored the tour to our abilities and carefully curated the experiences and timings to ensure that we saw the maximum and had a truly memorable and enjoyable tour. All the facilities were in good condition and well maintained, and the lunch at the Visitor Centre offered a selection of local dishes and was delicious.
