Passez par la place de l'Indépendance, le centre du gouvernement de l'État indonésien, y compris le palais présidentiel et la statue d'Arjuna Wijaya
Visitez le Monument national (Monas), un monument de 132 mètres de haut symbolisant l’indépendance de l’Indonésie. Le sous-sol du monument présente 48 dioramas mettant en valeur l’histoire de la nation. À l'intérieur de la salle de l'Indépendance, voyez la Porte de la Proclamation, Garuda comme emblème national, et une carte plaquée or de l'Indonésie. Veuillez noter : Le Monument National est fermé le lundi.
La mosquée Istiqlal est la plus grande mosquée d'Asie du Sud-Est et la sixième du monde par sa capacité de fidèles. Son nom, « Istiqlal », signifie « indépendance » en arabe. Située au cœur de Jakarta, juste en face de la cathédrale nationale, la mosquée se présente comme un symbole de paix et de tolérance religieuse. Veuillez noter : la mosquée Istiqlal est fermée le vendredi; les visites sont limitées à l'observation de l'extérieur.
Située sur Jalan Lapangan Banteng Utara, l'église cathédrale a été construite en 1891 dans un style architectural néogothique. L'église comporte de hautes tours et de hautes fenêtres ornées de vitraux. À l'intérieur, trois autels principaux forment un demi-cercle, dont un bel autel historique conçu pour refléter le son comme une conque.

Visite du temple Dharma Bhakti, le plus ancien temple confucéen de Jakarta. Toujours actif aujourd'hui, il sert de centre de culte, de cérémonies religieuses, et de préservation des traditions Chinoises.
Cette région était autrefois le centre du gouvernement colonial Néerlandais. Avec ses canaux et ses bâtiments historiques à l’architecture Néerlandaise classique, elle est souvent surnommée la « Petite Amsterdam ».
Ensuite, remontez le temps au musée d'histoire de Jakarta (musée Fatahillah), au cœur de la vieille ville emblématique. Installé dans un ancien hôtel de ville colonial Néerlandais, le musée donne vie au passé de Jakarta à travers des artefacts fascinants, des cartes historiques et des histoires allant de ses débuts à l'indépendance. C’est une visite incontournable pour les passionnés d’histoire et les premiers visiteurs désireux d’explorer les racines culturelles de la ville. Veuillez noter : Le musée est fermé le lundi.
Rencontrez des maîtres de marionnettes traditionnels et apprenez-en davantage sur la marionnette indonésienne. Découvrez comment sont fabriquées les marionnettes, observez-les en action et explorez une collection de wayang de diverses régions d'Indonésie. Veuillez noter : Si vous avez de la chance, vous aurez peut-être l'occasion d'assister à un spectacle du maître de marionnettes.
Pour conclure la visite, visitez le plus vieux port de Jakarta, qui a déjà été témoin de l’apogée du contrôle Néerlandais sur le commerce des épices en Indonésie. Aujourd'hui, le port est toujours utilisé pour la navigation intérieure, avec des bateaux en bois Phinisi traditionnels soigneusement ancrés et alignés le long du port.

We had a great time on this full-day tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jakarta. It was an excellent way to see all of the city's major sights while also driving through many different neighborhoods, giving us a much better feel for the city as a whole. Our guide, Thomas, was great. He shared plenty of interesting information about each site we visited, while also providing great insight into Indonesia's history, culture, and daily life. His commentary really added to the experience. One thing that truly stood out, though, was the tour vehicle. The van was simply amazing—it had the most comfortable seats I've ever had on a tour, and it made a full day of sightseeing so much more enjoyable. It was easily the best tour vehicle we've experienced, and after taking several more tours throughout Indonesia, it became clear that most companies don't invest in vehicles of this quality. Huge credit to this company for recognizing how much of a difference that makes. Overall, this was an excellent tour with a knowledgeable guide, a well-planned itinerary, and exceptional transportation. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comprehensive introduction to Jakarta.

This private tour is excellent if you have only a day to visit Jakarta. Bryan, an enthusiatic young man was our tour guide along with Andy, who drove us to the places. The minivan was too big for a group of three, but very comfortable. Bryan accommodated our request to start half an hour later as we were running late. Bryan was very thorough in explainjng the history of Indonesia and the significance of the places we visited. He is polite, knowledgeable ad an excellent guide. Highly recommended.

What an amazing tour of everything that is Jakarta. Jakarta is a brilliant city and we are so happy that we contacted the Ekaputra Tour team. From start to finish, our tour guide, Gus and his driver were brilliant and made our tour one to remember. Gus is very informative (very, very informative), with everything that is Jakarta and Indonesia. The tour was a mix of sightseeing and education and a lot of fun on the way.
