Itinéraire
La visite commence le matin et nous quitterons Mascate en direction de Wadi Shab. Ce Wadi est un énorme canyon bordé de palmiers et d'indications impressionnantes sur ce que la puissance de l'eau descendant des montagnes peut faire dans la nature. Après 40 minutes de marche et de randonnée à travers le canyon Wadi (des chaussures de marche ou des baskets sont nécessaires), nous arrivons à l'une des piscines aux eaux cristallines. Les touristes peuvent nager dans les eaux chaudes de piscine en piscine. Finalement, nous arrivons au dernier bassin où une ouverture parmi les énormes rochers nous permet de nager dans une incroyable crevasse avec une petite cascade. À l’intérieur, la lumière du soleil filtre de l’extérieur, transformant l’eau en un magnifique bleu turquoise tandis que l’eau coule sur un côté de la grotte depuis le Wadi au-delà.
La plage de Fins ouvre un panorama de sable blanc saisissant et d'une plage de galets intrigante, avec des eaux turquoises étincelantes et une douce brise fraîche.
De Fins Beach, sur le chemin du retour à Mascate, nous faisons un arrêt au gouffre de Bimmah (la baignade dans le lac du gouffre est possible). Bimmah Sinkhole est une dépression remplie d'eau, structurellement un gouffre, dans le calcaire de l'est du gouvernorat de Mascate dans le sultanat d'Oman, un lac aux eaux turquoise, il mesure 50 m sur 70 m de large et environ 20 m de profondeur, il se trouve à seulement 600 m environ de la mer, entre les villes côtières de Dibab et le village de Bimmah, le gouffre a été formé par un effondrement du couche superficielle due à la dissolution du calcaire sous-jacent. Pour préserver le gouffre, la municipalité locale y a aménagé un parc. De Sinkhole, nous retournons à Mascate

Bimah Sinkhole also called as the "Bimah Hawiyat Najm," was formed over thousands of years due to the collapse of a cave system, likely caused by erosion and natural processes like rainwater seepage. While its exact age is uncertain, such sinkholes are common in limestone-rich areas like Oman. The place is near the sea shore and is several feet down. A complete walk way. Can swim if one feels like A relaxing visit to Fins Beach, known for its white sand and clear blue waters a perfect spot to unwind
It was great and our guide was great too, highly recommended for a total of 7 km. The mountains are really beautiful

We had an amazing day with Fauzi in Oman. The wadis were incredibly beautiful, and it was so much fun hiking and swimming. He took great care of us and made sure we were always safe. The lunch we had of fresh fish from the market was also very delicious. Oman is a wonderful country, and this tour is the perfect way to see some of its amazing sites. We highly recommend it.

Wadi Shab and the Bimmah Sinkhole are true nature wonders and a must when in Oman. But in addition to these two stops our guide also made serval stops to places only a local would know - hidden beaches and caves. To top this experience, we had an actual feast for a lunch of Omani foods in the lovely town of Tiwi. The tour was equally appreciated by both my older parents and my more adventurous self. :)

A visit to Wadi Shab is a must-do while in Oman. It's one of the most lovely things we've ever seen! We had a fantastic day in paradise. Walking and climbing for 45 minutes may seem difficult, but our tour guide Salim made it look easy. We had a wonderful day with Salim our tour guide who took our family of four to Wadi Shab and Bimmah Sinkhole. He is a very friendly and knowledgeable guide, and we are grateful for his excellent service and willingness to share his knowledge and experience with us. We ate at a local restaurant for lunch. He picked us up from our hotel on time in a very comfortable car and made our journey enjoyable, especially since we were travelling with children. I'll be writing a full review on my website soon. The trip was truly enjoyable. Our guide Khalid is kind and knowledgeable, punctual and responsible, and he helped carry my heavy rucksack all the way through... While we were enjoying our time, he also swam up the valley to collect rubbish left by tourists.. he tried his best to accommodate all our requests. I would highly recommend him and the tour
We spent a great day with Abdullah, who took us (family of four) to Wadi Shab and Bimmah Sinkhole in December, 2019. He is a very friendly, experience guide and we are very grateful for his excellent service and for sharing his knowledge and experience with us. We had lunch in a local restaurant which was also delicious. He also took us on a short trip to the main spots in Muscat before taking us to the port to go back to our cruise. Thank you Khliad for such a wonderful day. Our guide picked us up on time. We travelled in a very comfortable 4x4. Khliad proudly told lots about his country, shared some of his homemade Arabic coffee and dates with us and brought us to this amazing Wadi, I have to say it’s one of my best experiences, swimming between the mountains and into a cave with a waterfall in crystal clear water is hard to beat. We stopped in a small village for lunch which was excellent and only £10 for two and then onto Bimmah sinkhole for another swim. This is such a beautiful country with great people. Go with this company they were great.
Another fantastic tour with Abdullah to Wadi Shab and Bimmah Sinkhole. Abdullah collected us from our hotel and drove directly to Wadi Shab, was very knowledgable and extremely safe in the water. We had a fantastic lunch with Abdullah which we’d highly recommend and then onto the Sinkhole, en route we stopped at a fantastic beach and saw turtles and gazelles. One of the best tours we’ve been on and a great guide. Would highly recommend!
