Itinéraire
La visite commence par l'entrée des musées du Vatican, où, après avoir coupé la longue file, depuis l'escalier en colimaçon de Momo, vous marcherez jusqu'à la cour du Belvédère où se trouve l'immense pomme de pin en bronze. La visite se poursuit à la Galerie des sculptures romaines antiques, la Salle des Muses, la Salle des Animaux et la Rotonde. Ensuite, le Guide vous emmènera à la galerie des Cartes géographiques, à la galerie des tapisseries, et à la salle Sobiesky.
Après cela vient la partie la plus célèbre des musées, les salles populaires peintes par Raphaël pour le pape Jules II et la chapelle Sixtine comprenant les chefs-d'œuvre de Michel-Ange: la création d'Adam et le jugement dernier.
Il est ensuite temps de visiter la basilique Saint-Pierre où vous explorerez les nombreuses chapelles latérales avec leurs cryptes cachées. Vous verrez la Pietà de Michel-Ange et votre guide vous expliquera pourquoi c’est la seule œuvre qu’il a signée. Vous apprécierez la maîtrise qui a présidé à la réalisation du retable du Bernin et apprendrez comment Michel-Ange a triomphé de ses contemporains pour l’honneur de peindre la magnifique coupole de Saint-Pierre.

Our tour was absolutely everything we wanted during our stay in Rome. Our tour guide was Sara and she was so friendly, knowledgeable and an overall great person. I highly recommend this tour with her!
We were so lucky to spend 3 hours with Claudio, being shown the Vatican City, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. Very organised, no waiting, smooth and effortless experience. Claudia is super knowledgeable, and incredibly patient with all the questions both we and our children could come up with.
This tour was one of the most special parts of our recent trip to Europe. Our tour guide, Tommaso absolutely made the tour memorable. His thorough and fascinating explanations of the Vatican and other locations kept our attention and we learned so much during our time with him. His sincere interest in what we wanted to gain from the tour show how personally invested he was in making it a tour to remember. Despite some weather conditions, he carefully navigated our group throughout the spaces and it was obvious he not only knew the space well, but was also well respected by those who worked inside the Vatican museum. While this was a first tour of the trip, Tommaso was hands down the best guide we encountered. Highly professional, wealth of knowledge and adaptable to our group needs.
Tomasso is the best guide we have had on our trip to Rome. He knows every detail of every statue and painting in the Vatican by heart. My children endured the 4-hour visit enthusiastically and would have continued longer.
5/5 Stars – Absolutely Outstanding Vatican Tour with Claudia! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our private tour of the Vatican with Claudia was hands-down the highlight of our entire trip. Claudia is an absolute gem of a guide. She’s incredibly knowledgeable (she clearly knows every inch of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica inside and out). We stood in front of the Sistine Chapel ceiling and actually understood the drama, the history, and the sheer genius of Michelangelo thanks to her explanations. She pointed out tiny details we would have completely missed on our own and answered every single one of our (many!) questions with patience and enthusiasm. She was also super organized and thoughtful. The Vatican crowds can be overwhelming, but Claudia knew exactly how to move us through at the perfect pace so we never felt rushed or lost. She even made sure we got a few minutes of quiet time in the Chapel to just soak it all in. We left feeling incredibly lucky to have had her as our guide. Thank you, Claudia—you made our Rome dream trip complete! Highly, highly recommend. 🙌

We had an amazing private Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel tour with Claudia!
