It’s just a ticket to enter. We met at the meeting spot. They gave us a ticket and sent us in
Overall a fantastic experience! Second time and was just as great second time around!
We bought the tickets to skip the line which it did but the audio app was difficult to set up and we ended up going around without an audio guide in the end. There are audio guides in the building itself which we could have used instead. The Vatican itself is a must see location but I think we could have gotten cheaper tickets elsewhere for the same experience
Dear rebeccamU4011JV, Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad the skip-the-line access worked well and that you enjoyed visiting the Vatican. We’re sorry you had difficulty setting up the audio guide and understand how frustrating that must have been. We recommend to download the app prior to the tour and with a full Wifi to avoid any issue. We appreciate your comments and will use them to improve the experience for our guests.
once we found where the pick-up was, it was very easy and and comfortable. the audio guide was great!
The tour operator was fine but they didnt do much except give us our skip the line tickets. We did the self-guided audio tour which I wouldn't recommend as the audio guide tells you barely anything and is difficult to understand which areas the audio is for because there is only one reference picture which isn't always clear. I would recommend getting an actual guide. Also the audio tour is for the vatican museums, which don't appear to tell you anything about the history of the vatican itself. It's just about their vast collection of artefacts which they were nearly always 'given' or 'found'. Again, I would recommend an actual tour guide to take you around.
Hi conorn78, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're pleased to hear that you were satisfied with the check-in process and that everything went smoothly with receiving your skip-the-line tickets. The self-guided audio tour is designed to offer visitors the flexibility to explore at their own pace, but we recognize that it provides a different experience from a live guided tour. For those looking for more in-depth historical context and the opportunity to ask questions, a guided tour is indeed often the better option.
Leo was an amazing tour guide. Very efficient very knowledgeable very kind. Would highly recommend to anyone!!!
Pretty poor experience, happy with all of the pre communication etc, easy to meet at the meeting point etc but severely overpriced. We paid over £180 for tickets that on the day cost no more then £65 to get on site. We got nothing extra except an audio guide which is also rather poor and vague. Talked into buying skip the line tickets which make no difference. Still had to queue up, our line entered at the same time as everyone else. The Vatican in general, do not visit in July, way too busy and over sold. Over crowded everywhere, no space or time to properly look at anything or take proper pictures. Disappointing.
Hi Shaun, Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that the booking process, communication, and meeting arrangements were smooth. Our service helps guests secure Vatican entry tickets in advance, especially during busy periods when availability can be limited, and includes the convenience of organised access and an audio guide. We appreciate your comments and hope to welcome you again for a more enjoyable experience.
We enjoyed the visit to the Vatican Museum - it is a must for any visit to Rome.
we did a skip the line audio guide. We still had to que for ages to get in and the audio guide was really poor quality. Not enough details about anything. I really wish we had invested in a tour guide. This was actually a real scam, exspensive and the tour company didnt teally do anything!!!
Dear G9913RGmonicas, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear that the audio guide and the overall experience did not meet your expectations. Please note that this option is an escorted entrance ticket, meaning you are accompanied by a coordinator at the departure time to help you get inside. However, all visitors must go through the line for the mandatory security check, which cannot be skipped, as this is managed entirely by the venue's security staff and is outside of our control. We also appreciate your comments regarding the audio guide content and will share this feedback with our team for future improvements. We truly value your input and hope to provide you with a much better experience in the future.
It didn't include access to St Peter's Basillica. For that much money, I felt ripped off. I really didn't need to see another museum with Jesus being murdered.
Hi Greg_R, I'm sorry to hear you could not access the Basilica. It is not included if you booked the Skip the Line: Vatican & Sistine Chapel Ticket, as it can only be accessed with a Guided tour from inside the Museums and it is stated online that is not part of the experience. Please reach out for any clarifications!
