Découvrez l'un des volcans les plus actifs du Costa Rica, le volcan Poás avec 2 708 m d'altitude, situé à quelques minutes de la ville de San José, où nous venons vous chercher directement où vous pouvez trouver un hébergement pour vous emmener à voir le Grand Colosse Sur le chemin du Volcan, vous pourrez profiter des belles vues sur les fermes de lait, de fraises et de plantes ornementales ainsi que sur les grandes plantations de café qui se distinguent par la grande quantité observée sur le chemin, une fois que nous arriver au Volcan. Nous vous emmènerons déguster un délicieux déjeuner typique inclus dans la visite. Une fois que nous serons satisfaits, nous irons aux cascades de La Peace où vous serez émerveillés par l'immense cascade que cette région nous offre. Vous ne pouvez pas perdre de visiter la Coffee Farm et tout apprendre sur l'un des meilleurs cafés du monde.

Nous passerons par l'une des plus belles cascades du Costa Rica, ferons une pause dans les montagnes de Sarapiqui, c'est La Paz dehors.
Chez Mi Cafecito, nous ferons une visite très intéressante du café à Sarapiquí, vous saurez tout ce qui concerne l'un des cafés les plus prestigieux du monde. Ici, nous aurons un très délicieux déjeuner typique, vous pourrez choisir dans un menu votre plat le plus pratique selon vos goûts ou préférences. Ensuite, nous visiterons une autre cascade (El Congo) dans les montagnes et un point de vue sur la rivière Sarapiqui.

This tour is well worth it!!! I went with my wife and it was an amazing experience. Rickardo was an amazing tour guide and very knowledgeable and made our first time experience in Costa Rica a very memorable experience. If it’s your first time in CR I highly recommend booking!!!

I will cherish the memory, but wouldn’t give it a 5 due to the shuttle being a little uncomfortable for the rough ride. The last coffee stop was next to busy road and a little dumpy. The first coffee plantation stop was nice, but we had to pay to drink the coffee really nice. It wasn’t clear that it wasn’t included. They make a couple stops at tourist souvenir stores. The volcano walk / hike was great and the highlight. I think the tour could be done in 5-6 hours, instead of 8. I would recommend this tour, but at a 4 out of 5 for me.

I had an amazing experience on the Poás Volcano, La Paz Waterfall, and coffee tour with Ricardo as my guide! From the beginning of the tour to the very end, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel welcome. He shared so much interesting information about Costa Rica, the volcano, wildlife, and coffee production, making every stop even more enjoyable. Ricardo was organized, patient, and always made sure I was comfortable and having a great time. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and his positive energy made the entire day even better. This tour was easily a 10/10 experience, and Ricardo was a huge reason why. If you're looking for an unforgettable tour in Costa Rica, I highly recommend requesting him as your guide. The excursion was well organized overall. The pickup was punctual, and I was the first passenger to board the transport. However, the pickup process took quite a bit of time because several participants left later than expected, apparently due to being informed of a different schedule. It would be good to review this aspect, especially considering the traffic in San José. The coffee plantation is very beautiful, although the explanation about coffee production does not take place there. Additionally, the tour is not at the Starbucks plantation as indicated in the advertisement, so it would be advisable to update that information to avoid confusion. The highlight was undoubtedly the visit to Poás Volcano. We were fortunate to see it completely clear, and the views were spectacular, although we did not see the Botos Lagoon. The lunch was good, and afterward, there is an explanation about the coffee process that concludes with a tasting. As a recommendation for future travelers, please be patient with the return to San José, especially during the week, as the traffic can be quite intense. Overall, it was a good experience and an excellent opportunity to get to know one of the most impressive places in Costa Rica.

First the day was made great by our guide Rodrigo. Can't say enough about his knowledge and helpfulness. Learned a lot about how coffee is grown, processed and brewed. Had an amazing hike to Poas Volcano and Lake Boras and kicked out that the skies were clear and we had a great view of both. La Paz waterfall was beautiful, especially if you walked the path behind it. Top it off with a great lunch and great group of people on the tour and it was an amazing day.
