Pearl Harbor Arizona Memorial - Visite d'Honolulu - Accès sous-marin

Description

I always book with you guys and is the first time i haven’t get a text or message from my guide changing our pick up time… all the time I see was pick up 8:30 and we miss this tour the one i planned months ago bcs was for my sons birthday… when i got to the pick up point I sent messages and till i called viator, they said pick up time was 7:45 !!!! Not happy with this rk
Aloha, we’re sorry for the frustration and disappointment, especially since this was for your son’s birthday. We would like to clarify that the pickup details and time were provided in the confirmation email, which was successfully delivered and opened, and a reminder email was also sent one day before the tour. We understand your concerns and appreciate your feedback as we continue working to improve our communication.
The communication was excellent of where we were to meet Our driver and host, Eric was prompt and greeted us with a big smile. He pointed out important places along the way. We liked he played a recording of the history leading up to the day we were attacked. The time we spent visiting Pearl Harbor was perfect! We saw everything at a relaxing pace. Eric was again prompt at picking us up and we drove by other interesting landmarks like the capitol and former palace. He also pointed fun facts like where “The Rock” went to high school. The traffic was congested, but Eric maneuvered it calmly and carefully. So happy we chose this tour.
Aloha! Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We’re delighted to hear that Eric provided excellent service, shared the history and highlights of Oahu, and helped make your Pearl Harbor visit enjoyable and memorable. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with him. Mahalo for choosing our tour, and we hope to welcome you back again soon!
Great tour—it made traveling from Waikīkī to PH very convenient for us. We were also gifted a buy-one-get-one luau, which was a wonderful bonus. Thank you!
Aloha! 🌺 Mahalo so much for your kind words! We’re happy to hear the tour made your travel from Waikīkī to PH convenient and that you enjoyed the buy-one-get-one luau—it’s always a pleasure to share a little extra aloha. Thank you for choosing us, and we hope to welcome you again soon!
Was a a good tour to Pearl Harbor. I booked through TripAdvisor with one company however this company combines with another company and their tours are a little bit different from each other. I’m sorry I don’t remember the two companies names. The times were a bit off that’s not allowing access to the submarine for me. That wasn’t an issue. I wasn’t planning on going to the submarine the tour driver and guide were excellent. I recommend you purchase the audio tour while at the site overall I do recommend this tour.
Thank you for your feedback! We’re happy to have been part of your trip. We’re glad you enjoyed the Pearl Harbor tour and that our driver and guide provided excellent service. Mahalo for recommending us!
Our tour guide did an excellent job. She was excellent and unique! Chelsea drove the bus and narrated. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and a great driver! Don't bring outside bags to USS Arizona trip.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled to hear that Chelsea did an excellent job and made your tour both informative and enjoyable. Mahalo for choosing us—we’d love to welcome you again!
This was a rare bad experience. We booked this tour through Viator. Viator is a third party booking site that connects your reservation with businesses and companies that are offering the advertised adventures. The company that we were booked with was "Aloha Pearl Harbor" and our tour guide was Shelly. When we booked this trip it was advertised as being between 5-6 hours in length. What that turned out to mean was some of that time was picking up people in the morning and some was dropping people off in the afternoon at various locations in Honolulu. Our tour guide Shelly, did a nice job showing us the sights of Honolulu and we learned quite a bit about her husband's surfing prowess. After we had seen the sights in Honolulu we were taken to Pearl Harbor. At the time we went to Oahu the memorial was undergoing renovations and tours out to the memorial had been canceled/were extremely limited. We knew this prior to going on the excursion but expected to have time to visit the museums and other sights at the harbor. When we arrived our tour guide informed us that we had two hours (what??). I asked her what we could do there with those two hours and she suggested we take the free "15 minute shuttle offered by the park to go see the Arizona memorial from a different angle and then either go on the USS Missouri or go to the wonderful aviation museum." We chose to do this and discovered that the 15 minute ride involved waiting in line first, being dropped off at the Missouri (our great view of the memorial included an enormous crane!), waiting in line again for the next shuttle, getting on the shuttle and waiting while passengers got on, and then going to the aviation museum. By the time we arrived at the aviation museum we realized that we had to stay on the bus and get back to our tour as we only had 1/2 hour left. Upon arriving to our tour bus we heard another couple expressing the same displeasure we had with the amount of time at the memorial and we expressed our displeasure as well. My top complaint was that we had been booked on a trip advertised as 5-6 hours and then only getting two hours at such a significant site. My secondary complaint was being told we had time to go visit one of the museums. Our tour guide took extreme issue with our complaint, asking who we had booked through and taking no responsibility for her bad advice. The other couple had booked directly with the tour company and we had booked through Viator. Shelly informed us that it was the fault of Viator (yet the other couple had the exact same issue with the way the trip was advertised) and told the other couple she would call her boss. While enroute back to Honolulu Shelly announced on the intercom that she had talked to her boss and the other couple needed to talk to the tour desk at their hotel and they would make it right. She then she went on to complain about "another couple" (gee. I wonder who.) and how it wasn't her fault that the memorial was closed and she had told us at the beginning it wasn't likely to happen (we never complained about this). She went on and on, I don't even remember half the things she said but it was clear the microphone and audience were hers and she was going to get her 2 cents in. Let me tell you a little bit about Pearl Harbor (I wish I had known prior to going there. My fault for not researching better). There are several things to see at Pearl Harbor, the first thing you need to know is the USS Memorial and the National Park museums and movie are FREE. There is a submarine museum on site that is not free. The USS Missouri and the aviation museum are on Ford Island and are not free. You have to take a free park shuttle out to Ford Island in order to visit these two exhibits as they are on an active military base. Parking at Pearl Harbor is only $7 or you can take a city bus to get there. You do not need a tour guide to take you to Pearl Harbor.
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We’re truly sorry that your experience did not meet expectations. Prior to the tour, guests were informed that the USS Arizona Memorial was under renovation and not accessible at the time. The six-hour tour is designed to highlight Pearl Harbor – USS Arizona, and visiting the submarine and aviation museum was offered as an option during that time. We sincerely apologize for any miscommunication regarding the schedule and how your concerns were handled. This is not the experience we strive to provide, and we will use your feedback to improve our communication and service moving forward. We look forward to giving you the best experience on your next trip.
This tour to me is emotional being a veteran, ALTHOUGH I am Army, I can relate to what happened here. It is an emotional trip, but l would go again out of respect. To me this would be a great experience even for non military School children should see this with an open mind to see that this is the price of Freedom
Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re honored that the tour resonated with you and appreciate your service. Pearl Harbor is a place to reflect on the price of freedom, and we’re glad it left a meaningful impact. Mahalo for your respect, and we’d be honored to welcome you again.
Not worth it go by ourself…..For what they charge you don’t have time to really see everything….more worried about getting the tour over….frelt rushed the whole time
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you felt rushed during the tour. The itinerary is shared in advance to help set expectations, but we understand how this can still feel fast-paced. We’ll take your comments to heart and work on making the experience more enjoyable for our guests in the future.
Don’t book with either company. I my booking was cancelled 14 hrs, beforehand. ( but received 4 emails & text for me to confirm) the reason was “Pearl Harbor was closed” in fact it wasn’t. The boat ride out the monument was longer than expected. Now I’m trying to get my refund….. not going well at all.
We sincerely apologize for the cancellation of your tour. Due to unscheduled bus maintenance, we were unable to operate as planned, and we’re very sorry for any confusion this caused. We understand how frustrating this must be and are committed to assisting you with your refund. Thank you for your patience.
Very bad. They asked me to change the day, which I accepted and em tour was in English when I had hired Spanish. We couldn’t go to the Arizona Memorial because it was closed and there was no compensation for it (refund of some of the money, adding some alternative replacement, absolutely nothing) they just cut the tour short which was supposed to end at 3.30pm and actually ended at 2pm. Really disappointing. The only rescueable thing was the guide which was very kind.
