The best part was the dance and fire show at the end of the whole thing. What folks need to know is the venue is basically in a trailer park in the middle of nowhere....they have tried to outfit it to a venue but I was disappointed we were in a trailer park.....it was not what we were expecting. It felt a bit like a festival at first with a bunch of vendors and activities...which we had no interest in. Pig roast was...ehh not anything huge...Trailers are used for bathrooms, and fake grass carpet is laid out for luau space...folding up tables for dinner etc. If you are expecting a more formal environment this one isnt for you. I wish we would have booked a luoa at a nice hotel or beach front....i chose this one thingking it was in the Poylnesian Center....thinking a big scenic park or manicured grounds. This place was not that. Having said that the dancers and fire show was impressive. Food was ok...not the best and not the worst. Also know that your drink tickets have limitations....I wanted a glass of wine for instance but was told that wasn't included and I needed to pay 21 bucks extra. I said nope..we just dropped 800 bucks for our family to attend and 3 drink tickets were to be included...I was very annoyed about that detail too.
From start to finish absolutely amazing 10/10 would recommend to everyone! The fire show alone makes it worth it!
The hubby and I loved this authentic experience. We really felt like family although there was approximately 300 people attending. The entertainment was really good and historical information they shared was really appreciated. Definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a Luau where the entertainment and food was great.
This was nice i like how open it was. The drinks were terrible, the food was nasty the salad was good.
Mauka Warriors Luau was unreal — ask for cousin Brian! Our tour guide was cousin Brian and he had us laughing the whole ride up. Dude’s energy is contagious and he shared so much local history + jokes. The luau itself was amazing — great imu ceremony, open bar, and the fire knife finale gave me chills. Food was on point: kalua pig, poi, fresh poke. If you want culture + entertainment + good vibes, this is it. Love how they had the families involved on stage. Lastly, I appreciated the friendly reminders and confirming the reservation for this event. Mahalo cousin Brian!🌺
The experience was great! The night was very much about family and making memories ! The show was amazing ! Mahalo to all the staff for a wonderful experience.
This was the absolute best show! My kids said it was their favorite part of our trip! Food was delicious and the show was spectacular.
It was a wonderful time however I really regret not getting the better tickets so we could have sit closer but that is my fault not the shows fault if your gonna go I really recommend getting the closer tickets
Our experience at the Mauka Warriors Lūʻau was wonderful overall. The show itself was absolutely fantastic. The hula performances were beautiful, and the fire dancing was simply amazing. One of our favorite aspects was how much they involved the audience throughout the evening—it made the experience feel fun, interactive, and memorable. The only aspect that was a bit disappointing was the venue. While Mauka’s current location creates a more intimate atmosphere, it also felt somewhat contained, almost like a small amusement park. Having attended Paradise Cove Luau a couple of years ago, I appreciated being right on the water, with more room to explore the shops and enjoy the pre-show activities. That setting felt a little more immersive. Our only other minor criticism was the parking and check-in experience. The staff member directing parking and assisting with tickets seemed a bit impatient, although he was still polite. Fortunately, every other staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, engaging, and genuinely contributed to a great evening. Overall, we had an excellent time and would absolutely recommend Mauka Warriors Lūʻau. The outstanding performances and enthusiastic cast made it a memorable experience that far outweighed the few minor drawbacks.
It was a great luau! We loved it. Good food, music and entertainment. The kids loved it. Was told there was kids options but all options for adults and kids were same so that was the only downside. Luckily got the kids to try some of it so they weren’t hungry.
