Really interesting tour with Dan, a Belfast resident who had lived through the Troubles. We learned a lot & it was fascinating to get his insights into Belfast history. Thank you Dan!
It should have been 5 stars and excellent but the system would not allow me to do that. The tour was excellent and the driver gave us a thorough history of the troubles. He took us to all the relevant areas. We were able to take lots of photos.
My wife and I booked this private tour. Dan provided an amazing historical tour and shared his personal insights. Dan made sure he took our photo at each stop. I highly recommend this tour. Make sure you request Dan.
We were so happy with our tour. Learned so much. We are from the US both with Irish ancestry- our guide was so knowledgeable, funny and kind. Thank you!
My dad and I had a really great time with Dan. He is thoroughly knowledgeable, interesting and a really great guy! We both really appreciated that he was willing to cater to our requests to see specific murals as well. Can’t recommend him enough if you’re looking for a tour. Thanks very much :)
The tour with Dan is very interesting. He's a genuine Belfast local who recounts the history and the most harrowing events of the past. 100% recommended.
Great tour! Friendly guide , plenty of history. Throughly enjoyed it . One of the highlights of our trip!
Trip was cut short substantially because our ferry was late, our time slot was 2pm. Lacked some customer service however the driver had lived experience during the troubles which made it made the tour more interesting. Overpriced for what we got, hop on bus tour just as good and a much cheaper fee. Weekend visit and crammed in giants causeway, titanic museum and a bus tour. Recommend fish city for good seafood and Bertz jazz bar AA rosette flawless service would Recommend.
Sorry, your ferry was 45 minutes late. I also waved the pick up charge outside Belfast and extended it as long as possible hopefully the next time you book a tour you will do the full tour and you can judge it better thanks for your feedback , much appreciated
Dan showed around we two people from England who had experienced 'the troubles' at arm's length via TV news. Educate yourselves by taking this no-nonsense trip with Dan. Discover at first hand why Bernadette Devlin wrote in 2023 the words in my review title. We learnt about why problems usually consist of grey rather than black and white. Dan is the epitome of warmth and will be unshocked by any tricky questions you may ask.
A very informative and fascinating glimpse of the troubles and their context and history. We felt it was a privilege to be shown how growing up amidst the troubles would have been. It was brought to life and we are really pleased to have gone on it.
