Anyone looking for relaxation in nature without having to walk themselves, and who wants to enjoy the jungle with all their senses, is in exactly the right place here! The nearly silent ride on the Aerial Tram through the treetops really gives you the feeling of being right in the middle of an adventure. From my perspective, this is primarily about switching off: just looking, smelling, listening, and enjoying – a wonderful little "digital detox." Highlights & Exhibitions: * Exclusive vibe: During our visit (end of September, so off-season), it was wonderfully quiet and not at all crowded. Because of that, you had a real "all alone in the jungle" feeling. * Ride through the treetops: In the tram, you primarily see the fascinating plant life and countless vines (Tarzan feeling guaranteed!). You have to look a bit for free-flying animals like parrots and butterflies, but we saw coatis, and you can hear the impressive natural soundscape all the more intensely for it. * Gardens & animals up close: After the ride, the tour through the exhibitions is extremely worthwhile. In the butterfly, frog, and hummingbird garden, as well as in the area, you can see snakes and hummingbirds, among other things. Watching the tiny birds hovering is incredibly cute – but almost too fast to film! Practical tips for your visit: * Time required: Plan for a total of about 3 hours starting from the parking lot. A small shuttle takes you directly from the parking lot to the park. The tram ride itself takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes (possibly a bit longer when it's busier). After that, there are still the exhibitions. Anyone who also wants to do the zipline should plan for more time accordingly. * Camera & cell phone: My tip: It is best to leave your cell phone put away for the most part and simply enjoy the ride with your own eyes! * Equipment: As everywhere in the rainforest, you should always be prepared for rain and mosquitoes (pack rain protection and insect repellent). Sufficient drinking water is also absolutely sensible – especially when the sun comes out. Conclusion: Perfectly organized (super friendly staff!), wonderfully quiet, and an unforgettable nature experience. Pura Vida!

Marco, our tour guide, was amazing. Very knowledgeable about everything we spoke about. Marco even went above and beyond to help us spot the the Tapirs that had been seen around that day

Beautiful place, without internet for transportation.
The place is incredible!! However, they didn't have internet and they literally left us adrift looking for a bus or taxi, which was quite risky being out of the country.

Jungle Boy
Great experience. Wildlife was well taken care of and air tram was so peaceful. Paid extra for a tour guide which was Katherine. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Do plan on coming ahead of time. I stayed in San Jose and it took almost 2 hours to get there and 2hrs coming back due to traffic.

A beautiful experience.
A well organized ride, the pick up was punctual and hassle-free, the breakfast good, the guide was very competent and explained comprehensively historical , geographical and biological relationships. He also responded very kindly to questions. Overall a nice experience.

Disappointing
A little disappointed. Didn’t see anything other than couple of birds. Tram ride itself was ok I guess. Lots of stops made it little annoying.

Wildlife sightings in the rainforest can vary from day to day since the animals live freely in their natural habitat. Some days we are fortunate to see many species, while other days sightings may be more limited. The aerial tram makes occasional stops so guests can safely observe the surroundings and allow the guide to point out plants, birds, or animals that may be hidden in the canopy. Relaxed and pleasant way to visit a park
It is a beautiful park that is visited through an aerial tram. We were lucky enough to have a very good guide, James or Jaime, who showed us all the enclosures with very good explanations demonstrating great wisdom in the nature around him. Nice to visit such a park.

A wonderful adventure
It was an amazing experience in its entirety, including the aerial tram ride in the rain, the quietness, the grounding feeling of peacefulness, fresh air, and the comfortably slow transit through the rainforest allowed us to fully embrace this meaningful adventure. We felt like sloths - living in and embracing the moment. Having a stroll through the exhibits, the butterfly conservatory, the snake exhibit, and especially the sloth habitat and exhibit were all eye openers for us. The guide for the sloth enclosure took the time to explain in both Spanish and in English to ensure we all understood, and was both passionate and knowledgeable. This opportunity to experience the rainforest firsthand lived up to its name and exceeded our expectations.
