This is an amazing way to see Paris! They customize to what you are interested in and what you will enjoy. This was a highlight of our trip!!
We contacted this company the day of our our scheduled trip. We left a message. We received a call later that evening from the driver who said his car broke down. He canceled the trip. We did not have time to make other arrangements. It was our first day in Paris. It was a wasted evening.
We are truly sorry that your experience ended this way. Unfortunately, on that day our vehicle had a mechanical issue, which is extremely rare for us — this is the first time something like this has happened in 10 years. We immediately contacted you, offered alternative time slots, and when none of them worked for your schedule, we refunded you within minutes. We completely understand your disappointment, especially on your first evening in Paris, but we also feel it is unfair to suggest that we simply left you without a solution. We are a small family-run company, not a large operator with a fleet of backup vehicles. We always do our best to take care of our guests personally, and this situation was genuinely exceptional. Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience, and we wish you the best for the rest of your stay in Paris.
Very professional with a touch of laughs. The right recipe for a great night. We saw all the sites plus more. Very friendly and funny. I would highly recommend.
This tour was an excellent experience. We got to see the highlights of Paris as well as experience the culture . It was because of our incredible guide that the culture piece was so strong. We loved our experience!
Warning for this tour. It is expensive and totally non refundable even if the driver is 30 minutes late as long as he shows up. The driver took no responsibility for being late. In addition it was not a fully restored car and the back seat is beyond tiny. As he finally pulled up the brakes were squealing loudly. I tried to cancel because of his being late. I immediately called trip advisor. Eventually said there are no refunds for this tour as long as the driver shows up at some point. Lots of money down the drain. Beware!
Hello, I need to clarify that this version of events is completely false. The client was contacted before the tour to be informed of a slight delay, and everything was accepted at that time. I have all the screenshots of the conversation to prove this. When the clients arrived in front of the vehicle, they suddenly requested to cancel, saying they wanted to go back to the hotel. After that, they walked away and stopped responding to our messages. What is even more unacceptable is the way the driver was treated. Some of the comments and behaviour towards him were clearly discriminatory and disrespectful, which we cannot accept under any circumstances. In more than 10 years of experience, I have never seen a situation like this. We always act professionally, transparently, and respectfully with our clients, but we cannot allow false accusations or discriminatory behaviour towards our team. Best regards.
Nikolas was AWESOME!! We had the best time! We had only one full day and two nights in Paris so knew we wouldn’t get to see a lot - but by the end of our tour we felt as if we had seen all of the major sights of the city - AND - bonus - he gave us so much history about the city and the history of the sites we were looking at. I loved every minute!
I booked a tour with Nicolas Manac'h, owner of Midnight in Paris on Wheels, for a midnight tour of Paris. The tour was scheduled for May 18, 2023 around 11:30 pm until around 2:30 am on May 19th. I was flying from Lisbon, Portugal and had a 12-hour layover in Paris. I spent countless hours, days, and weeks looking for a serious company to take me and my 17-year old son on a tour of Paris because we had never been there. I reached out to Nicolas via email on April 8. I received an email confirmation from him on May 18. On the day of the tour, I sent a message via WhatsApp to confirm everything and also the amount we agreed on around 9 am. I received a reply from Nicolas Manac'h three minutes later informing me that he was canceling the tour because he never heard from me so he was canceling the tour and states, “Bonjour, I sent you a mail, as I haven't heard from you, I will not be available tonight. Sorry.” Maybe Nicolas forgot, after being booking with him, that his email said that I was confirmed for that day and to bring cash, and I’m going to quote it here, “Bonjour Itamar, Merci d'avoir reserve avec nous - thank you for booking with us! We are pleased to confirm your tour with Midnight In Paris on Wheels. Our tour service picks you up and drops you off at your requested Paris (central) location in the magical city of lights, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy. Please see details of your confirmed tour booking below.” Nicolas said that he didn’t hear from me, but perhaps he forgot that right after I got the confirmation email from him, I replied and said, “Hello Nicolas, Do you use WhatsApp? I do. If you use WhatsApp, I can keep you updated about my flight when I arrive in Paris and at the hotel. Merci.” Also, maybe Nicolas forgot that after I replied to his email with the above message, we started to communicate via WhatsApp. Why didn't he send me a message on WhatsApp to get my attention? I was in complete shock after receiving this message from Nicolas! Paris was going to be the highlight of my trip in Europe. I spent two years trying to learn some basic French, so I could be polite and show some respect to the French people by trying to communicate in their own language. All of a sudden, all my countless hours of researching everything about France had gone to the drain. This left me and my son without any options for a tour in Paris when I arrived that night. I was very disappointed and frustrated by this experience. I would not recommend booking a tour with Nicolas Manac'h. He is unprofessional and unreliable. I would suggest booking a tour with a different company.
Amazing time being able to see so much of the city. Learned a lot and had a lot of fun. Highly recommended.
I surprised my husband with this experience. We met Nicholas after walking back from dinner, and our adventure began from there. He drove us up to the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur at sunset, from there he drove around beautiful Montmartre, stopping to allow for pictures. (and Nicholas, himself, is quite the photographer as he took great pictures of the two of us) His knowledge of the city was very impressive, bringing us to places that we were not aware of. We also got to experience the Louvre at night with nobody around. Nicholas made sure that we experienced everything we wanted. We even went out for ice cream, had champagne (even though it wasn't champagne and I'm sure Nicholas will correct me, haha), and all along the way, he described the American and French history, which made the tour extra special. One thing I wanted was to see the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night, and Nicholas extended our tour to make this happen for us. I cannot recommend this experience enough.
We had a wonderful experience It was a beautiful night filled with great sights and lots of historical information. We would highly recommend this excursion with Nicolas
