We visited the sanctuary to see the sloths and the monkeys. Undoubtedly, this was one of the most unforgettable experiences I have ever had. The monkeys were cute and playful. They are very smart. The sloths were very slow moving but beautiful. I am happy to see places like this taking care of such beautiful animals. This place is well managed and just lots of fun!! I would recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Routan Honduras.
This small tour was amazing and we had the opportunity to pet the sloth, hold a Macaw, and feed a little monkey. Eddie and Devin, our tour guides were amazing, friendly, and very informational!!
The park was small but the guides Eddy and Julio were nice and informative. They let us take our time as there weren’t many people there.
We had a wonderful experience at the ecological park. Interacting with the animals was unforgettable—we were able to pet a sloth, feed playful monkeys, and hold colorful parrots. Our guide and driver, Kevin, truly made the tour special. He was professional, very informative, and also incredibly kind and accommodating. After the park, he took us to a beautiful beach where we could relax and enjoy the scenery. Transportation was perfectly arranged—Kevin picked us up right from the port and made sure we were back on time without any worries. This tour exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it, especially with Kevin as your guide!
Elda, our driver, was terrific! She shared a lot of info about the history of Honduras and answered our many questions. She was very sweet and kind. Travis at the animal encounter was great too! He has so much knowledge and is only 17! He made sure every one in the group had the opportunity to take a pic with the sloth and videos with the monkeys. Thank you both for a wonderful experience.
Leon was an exceptional guide who made us discover the beauty of Roatan. The guides at Maniwaki Park knew the animals very well and had good explanations.
We were surprised to find that we had a private driver in a car just for us. Linda , our driver, was very good. We had a good day.
Great location.. Animals well taken care of. Monkeys were rascals and sloths were so adorable. Nina the macaw was fun to hold for pictures. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly.
What a wonderful experience! Getting to see (and hold) sloths and interact with monkeys was the best. Vikie was my tour driver, she was amazing, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the island. She took her time and showed me interesting and beautiful spots on the island. Worth every penny!
Amazing experience with sloths, monkeys and macaws. Kevin Brown was the best guide. Only wish we could have held the sloths twice!!
