Papeete Food Tour

Description

This tour was an excellent introduction to Tahitian food and culture. Through the morning we sampled about a dozen different dishes including fish in coconut milk, which was amazing, local fruits, and coconut bread. In addition we toured the local market which is worth a separate visit. Our guide, Nona, was very organized and friendly. This was a don’t miss experience.
Great food tour. Tried local food, toured the market, and learned more about Tahiti. Recommend this tour.
We had a fantastic day with our tour guide Noah. She really showed her love for the culture and made us feel like family by the end of the tour. I thought it was a beautiful blend of food tasting and learning about the culture of Tahiti (including the other islands). I would definitely recommend this tour if you are looking for a good time enjoying the island with all five senses.
Such a great experience with my tour guide Noah! She was so kind and so knowledgeable and the food was delicious. I have never been more full in my life. Call me crazy, but I would definitely take another eight hour trip for those fish fritters and coconut bread.
We absolutely loved our food tour with Omara. Since this was our first time on a food tour we didn't know what to expect. It was a great way to learn about Tahitian/Polynesian culture through her love of food. We tried a wide variety of food & drink & snacks (loved the Georges). I would definitely recommend this tour. Don't eat before you go !!
My husband and I enjoyed taking this food tour on a not too hot and humid day. Our tour guide was prompt, friendly and respectful of people's time. She took us to many places to try a lot of Tahitian food. My husband LOVED how much tuna we had as it's his favorite! I would recommend arriving on an empty stomach as we had a lot of food throughout the tour. Highly recommend!
Great variety of fresh and fresh-made food. Personable and friendly local vibe.
Orange tour was fantastic, shes passionate about her food tour, so knowledgeable abd took us to try so many local foods. One did not feel rushed through the tour, all explained with admiration of her culture and country. Would 100% recommend this tour. Thank you Orana, wish you every success as you certainly deserve it, lovely person inside and out.
Our guide Orama is awesome! Food is delicious! Everything is just perfect. To think I was hesitant is so funny
This was such a delightful experience. The food was great but in addition to the food our guide Noah talked about growing up here and local customs. She was wonderful and we enjoyed the whole experience. We highly recommend it.
