Explorez le côté Pacifique du canal de Panama lors d'une visite privée conçue pour en comprendre clairement l'histoire et le fonctionnement. Il ne s'agit pas seulement d'observer des navires, mais de comprendre le fonctionnement du canal en temps réel tout en assistant au passage des bateaux par les écluses, depuis le Centre des visiteurs de Miraflores. Parcourez également l'ancienne zone du canal et découvrez l'histoire des traités Torrijos-Carter. Profitez de vues spectaculaires depuis la Chaussée d'Amador et découvrez le bâtiment de l'administration du canal de Panama, le pont des Amériques, le pont du Centenaire et la coupe Culebra. L'expérience est complétée par le film IMAX narré par Morgan Freeman, qui relie chaque histoire à ce que vous voyez en direct. Idéal pour : les familles, les couples, les groupes d'amis, les seniors et les voyageurs en escale. Attention : le centre d'accueil des visiteurs de Miraflores est en rénovation jusqu'en 2027. L'expérience inclut l'IMAX et le belvédère offrant une vue sur le passage des navires.

Itinéraire
Nous nous dirigerons vers le centre d'accueil de Miraflores où nous aurons l'occasion de regarder le documentaire de 45 minutes sur le canal de Panama, narré par Morgan Freeman au théâtre Imax, nous apprendrons l'histoire et le fonctionnement de cette construction importante et imposante et verrons le transit des navires Panamax qui passent par les écluses de Miraflores. Ce temps comprend le transfert vers les écluses de Miraflores.
Depuis les écluses de Miraflores, nous arrivons aux écluses Pedro Miguel, c'est la plus petite écluse construite et très importante car elle nivelle les navires au niveau de la coupe du serpent, qui est la partie la plus dangereuse et la plus compliquée du transit des navires. Le temps comprend le transfert aux écluses Pedro Miguel.
Nous passons par le pont Centenario où vous verrez le début de la célèbre coupe Culebra et les entrées des écluses de Pedro Miguel, Miraflores et Cocolí.
Nous continuons à en apprendre davantage sur le canal de Panama et arrivons au bâtiment administratif du canal de Panama, où nous marcherons le long du Paseo del Prado (qui a une histoire intéressante) et du monument George Goethals. Le temps comprend le transfert depuis les écluses de Pedro Miguel.
ATTENTION : En raison de travaux de rénovation, nous ne nous arrêterons pas au point de vue ; nous effectuerons une traversée panoramique par le pont des Amériques.
Nous continuons notre aventure et terminons à la Chaussée d'Amador où nous découvrirons l'importance de cette zone lors de l'inauguration du canal de Panama et profiterons des vues impressionnantes sur la ville de Panama et la baie de Panama. Le temps comprend le transfert depuis le Mirador de las Américas.

At the time of our visit, Miraflores was being rehabbed. At the time of booking, I did not realize this. In addition, for the first time since becoming a Viator customer in 2015, our tour guide was a no-show. After we informed the tour operator, a second tour guide was secured approximately 2 hours after our 7:30 AM pick up. Tour operator was very apologetic, and the second tour guide did the best he could to salvage the rest of the day.

Viator half day excursion from Flamenco marina to Gamboa.I would recommend arriving 20 minutes early if you want to have an outdoor seat on the first part of the tour. The guide was informative and easily took all questions. Both breakfast and lunch were served but within two hours of each other. The experience of traveling the canal and the locks probably best done in this manner. Price point was moderately steep for the length of the excursion.

We get the best trip provider and highly recommend him to everyone. During the trip at I Max location was an alarming incident and we need to evacuate the venue area, they manage to continue but with a delay but our guide allowed extra time and we ended perfectly the trip .

Our guide, Joaquin, was amazing. I think having a guide for this expertise is an absolute must. If you're an American, you just can't drive here. You really need a local who knows the area perfectly. Joaquin lives what he does and he fills the trip with that enthusiasm. I learned a lot, saw everyone i hoped i would, and had a great time. He is a great guide.
