Great experience. Kareem was also a good guide
Phenomenal experience. This is a truly a cultural immersion experience. So nice, I did it twice! Irving Javier was excellent!
It was one of the best tours I’ve ever been on Kareem was our tour guide. He was so knowledgeable, enthusiastic and fun! He made sure we were taken care of and having fun the entire day. Highly recommend this tour. It was so interesting seeing how the Embera community live They were so friendly and inviting. And the waterfall was so much fun. And not to mention, we had the BEST and tastiest lunch at Embera made by the locals. Fantastic tour all around Well worth the time and money
We had an amazing time visiting the Emberá community and interacting with members of this remarkable Indigenous tribe. The boat ride to the village was an adventure in itself, and the breathtaking scenery along the river made the journey even more memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed the cultural performances presented by the members of the tribe and appreciated the delicious meal they prepared for us. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience their traditions, hospitality, and way of life firsthand. Our tour guide, Ruben, was exceptionally knowledgeable and provided fascinating insights into the history, customs, and daily life of the Emberá people. His passion and expertise greatly enhanced our experience. This tour exceeded our expectations and was worth every penny. It was an unforgettable cultural experience that offered incredible value, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and meaningful adventure.
Our tour to the Emberá village was absolutely incredible from start to finish! Our driver, Jorge, was excellent. He was so professional and kind, and he actually took the time to teach us several words on the drive over so we could communicate and connect with the villagers once we arrived. It made the entire experience feel so much more personal and respectful. When we reached the village, the people were incredibly warm and friendly. They greeted us with beautiful traditional music. The guide shared the history of their community with us and to top it all off, the food they prepared for lunch was absolutely amazing! What an experience—highly recommend!
The best tour with the best guide, Orlando Navarro, who has exquisite knowledge of the history of Panama. The indigenous community is something wonderful to know; they are very noble and honest people. We will definitely return!
I’m not sure what I need to say to get the point across but please book this trip. It was worth everything and then some more.! my host was Kareem and he was so awesome. I really appreciate this journey in my life. Thank you!
A wonderful experience! We had the best guide (Roberto) that lead us on an amazing trip. He was beyond knowledgeable and had the best attitude! We enjoyed a hike into the waterfall and then an amazing adventure with the Embera tribe. I highly recommend this as a must do.
I had a really great time on this tour in Panama. It was actually a solo experience for me, and I am glad I did it. It felt relaxed, not rushed at all. Visiting the indigenous community was really special, and I learned a lot about their culture and way of life. Their food was *chef’s kiss* and timely after our trek. Our guide, Orlando, was amazing…welcoming and made everything easy from start to finish. Recommend this to those who want a nice experience, plus I still had energy at the end of the day.
The trip was very interesting and educational but some things to bear in mind. 1. In addition to what you pay on viator you'll need to pay $35 to the empera village directly so bring cash. 2. There is a 15 minute hike to the waterfall that comes before the visit to village. It rained while we were there today so it was very muddy and slippery because the ground is clay.
