Ancienne église, chapelle et couvent de Saint-Domingue qui conserve les vestiges de la pièce architecturale la plus emblématique de la vieille ville de la fin du XVIIIe siècle, principalement considérée lors de la construction du canal de Panama.
Un hommage au roi d'Espagne Carlos V. On attribue à ce personnage le titre d'être le premier à imaginer une route transocéanique à travers le Panama pour unir les deux plus grands océans du monde. L'océan Pacifique et l'océan Atlantique. C'est un endroit merveilleux pour acheter des Molas aux meilleurs prix auprès d'artisanes indigènes qui profitent de la Plaza pour offrir ces merveilles de leurs ancêtres.
Nous arrivons ici à la dernière partie de ce fascinant voyage à travers l’histoire du Panama. Profitez de la brise rafraîchissante de l'océan Pacifique, de la vue spectaculaire sur l'entrée sud du canal de Panama et de la possibilité de faire du shopping et d'interagir avec les artisans locaux.
Place qui rend hommage aux initiateurs du canal français, Pablo Arosemena, 5e président de la république de Panama (1901-1912), et combattant pour nos lois constitutionnelles de la nouvelle République.

Our tour guide was friendly and quite knowledgeable about Colombian history and the Panama Canal. He was engaging and willing to answer any questions. It was exciting to watch a cargo ship being lowered . The IMAX show was alright; narrated by Morgan Freeman. The capacity of the viewing area was too small for the amount of people there. It was worth the traffic.
Gabriel, our guide, did a good job. Unfortunately, it was raining most of the time but he made the best out of it, kept asking what we want and answered all our questions.

Luis was absolutely fantastic and made our time in Panama truly special! From the moment we met him, it was clear that he was committed to giving us an exceptional experience. At the Panama Canal, he made sure we arrived first and positioned us perfectly for the best possible views of the ships navigating the locks. Our tour of Old Town was equally memorable. Rather than simply following the typical tourist route, Luis showed us fascinating off-the-beaten-path locations and beautiful historic churches, including a special behind-the-scenes visit to the museum of the sacristy. First of all, I want to mention that I was born in Panama but left when I was 3. I’ve been back several times, but the last time I visited the canal was when I was around 8. I can honestly say I learned more about the canal through our guide than ever before. He was very knowledgeable and is completely bilingual in Spanish and English. He was also very courteous and punctual.
