Visite guidée La chapelle palatine, située à l'intérieur du Palazzo Pitti, est un bel exemple d'architecture religieuse baroque. Commandé par les Médicis puis enrichi par la dynastie lorraine, il servit de lieu de culte privé aux familles régnantes de Florence. Son intérieur est orné de fresques spectaculaires, de stucs complexes et de détails dorés, créant une atmosphère de grandeur et de solennité. La chapelle abrite également de précieuses œuvres d'art sacrées et des retables. Visiter la Chapelle Palatine, c’est découvrir un joyau caché du Palazzo Pitti, où foi, art et opulence se mêlent, offrant un aperçu unique de la vie spirituelle des Grands-Ducs de Florence.

The art in the Pitti Palace was incredible and our guide was very knowledgeable about it. We were hoping to spend more time on the interiors of the palace and less with the art. While our guide spoke excellent English, she didn’t seem to fully comprehend when we spoke so it was difficult to convey our interests. All in all, it was a positive experience for the most part but did not meet expectations for the excessive cost.

I booked directly online on Accord Solutions website for this tour. It was supposed to be a group tour but only me for the date. Accord Solutions still carried on the tour with Natalia as the tour guide. I could not thank Natalia enough for the experience. I watched too much TV series "the Medici" during lockdowns. So I decided to visit Florence to learn about the Medici family when we were allowed to travel. Natalia was very knowledgeable and passionate about art and history. I would miss 95% of information about Pitti Palace without a professional guide. Pitti Palace was the 3rd home for the Medici family full of luxury furniture, paintings and sculpture. Natalia pointed out stories behind all of the precious items. Without her, I would not know about the significance. The last Saturday of September happened to be carro matto celebration in Florence. Unfortunately it overlapped with my Pitti Palace tour schedule. I asked many people and checked website about carro matto but nobody could tell me if it was still happening. Local Florence people told me it was cancelled due to COVID. It was a medieval style parade that I did not want to miss. Lucky me! Natalia knew about the parade route and schedule. She gave me detailed instruction. I was sorry to rush her to finish the private tour slightly early, so I could see both Pitti Palace as well as see carro matto. Yes I made it! I am very grateful that Natalia gave me such nice tour as well as helping out with my personal wish. I would definitely check out Accord Solutions tours next time I am in Florence

Elizabet was our tour guide for the Pitti Place, and she was fabulous. I have been to the Pitti Palace before, but the insights and background she offered were entertaining, interesting, and informative. She was thoughtful, detailed, and genuinely interested in our experience. She took special care with my companion who had a broken foot, ensuring that we could get to see the Boboli Gardens without climbing steps.
