Time was tight for Midhope Castle, the rest was A-OK. Great job by Duncan.
Don’t go to Edinburgh to meet the tour. Stop in Waverley. It cost us a cab fare needlessly. The guide was exceptional
It’s quite a bit of walking and climbing of uneven stairs, but very much well worth it if you are an Outlander fan!
Great Tour, great Guide! Thanks Aila for a perfekt Outlander day! I loved Balckness Castle and Midhope House!
Really amazing! Day of crossing the stones 😄 We made the Outlander tour through Blackness Castle, Culross, Falkland, Dysart and Midhope Castle — and honestly? It seems that Scotland was made to exist. Falkland was surreal. Walking through those streets was like going straight into Inverness. Culross seems stuck in time, Blackness has an absurd energy and Midhope... well, any fan understands 😅
We had such an incredible experience on this Outlander tour today! It truly exceeded all our expectations. The guides were absolutely fantastic—so knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made every stop come alive with stories and insights, and their enthusiasm was contagious. One of the best parts of the day was the atmosphere they created. We had such lovely conversations throughout the tour—it felt relaxed, personal, and never rushed. Traveling by van was surprisingly enjoyable, especially with all the well-planned stops along the way. It was the perfect way to break up the journey, take in the beautiful scenery, and fully appreciate each location. We also loved meeting new people and sharing the experience together. It added such a warm and social element to the day, making it even more memorable. Everything was perfectly organized, and you could really tell how much care and attention goes into making this tour special. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone—whether you're a fan of Outlander or just looking for a unique and unforgettable way to explore Scotland. Thank you for such a wonderful day!
Speechless. 🤍 This wasn’t just a trip — it was an experience that stays with you. The tour guides were excellent. Jhon & Aela very knowledgeable, and truly enjoyed what they do.
Perry was a great guide and he is clearly very passionate about Outlander and making sure guests get everything they want from the trip. He had amazing knowledge about the show and about each location in general. Great pacing, one of the few tours it seemed like we spent more time outside the car than in. Loved it!
Overall, this was such an enjoyable experience. For someone who has not seen a single episode of Outlander going into this trip, I still felt like like I got a lot out of the trip--and not to mention, a renewed interest in getting into the series once I return home! I really liked the small group size, which allowed for a more personal experience. Our tour guide, Perry, was just perfect for this tour. He is incredibly knowledgeable and was enthusiastic throughout the tour. Also, he is just a very pleasant person, which helps add to the calm and serene landscape of countryside. As Perry pointed out, the smaller size of the vehicle allowed for the exploration of locations that are not accessible with a larger tour bus, which is another definite advantage. The price paid for this tour was extremely reasonable and, in my opinion, totally worth it. I look forward to booking future tours with this company the next time I visit!
Warren was an unbelievably great hostess/guide. He entertained us and informed us every step of the tour. Great singer and flute player too.
