Dirigé par un détenteur d'un doctorat en histoire écossaise ou un guide ayant des décennies d'expérience dans la réalisation de circuits historiques dans la capitale écossaise, cette visite de 90 minutes est un voyage fascinant à travers la célèbre vieille ville d'Édimbourg. Découvrez la majesté du célèbre Royal Mile avec son architecture époustouflante, mais aussi visitez les clôtures et les cours isolées situées juste à côté de High Street et découvrez leurs histoires dramatiques. Renseignez-vous sur les poètes, romanciers, philosophes et inventeurs de renommée mondiale qui ont appelé cette maison de quartier, mais aussi les voleurs, meurtriers et bodysnatchers notoires qui ont traqué les rues à la nuit tombée. La visite comprend un voyage à travers Canongate Kirkyard et une visite de nos voûtes souterraines au-dessous de South Bridge, où vous découvrirez comment cela s’est produit et qui y vivait.

Our guide was excellent and full of interesting information about the underground’s of Edinburgh. My complaint is that the group was too large for the spaces in which she took us. It was difficult to hear (and breathe at times). This tour should be limited to 15 people.
There is alot of walking. Quick pace and steps involved. Bit claustrophobic underground. Interesting stories from our very experienced guide

Aurora was an amazingly knowledgeable guide and clearly passionate about the history of the city. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and quite honestly could have spent hours listening to her speak about the local history. Would highly recommend this tour. Thanks for such a wonderful experience

Wonderful tour with Aurora, she was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Found out so much about Edinburgh that we otherwise would never have discovered. Her enthusiasm was infectious and it was so lovely to hear the history from someone that is so obviously passionate about it. It took an hour and a half and it was completely worth the money. Our guide Aurora (Aurore?) was AMAZING. She brought a depth of boundless historical knowledge, excitement for the subject and storytelling very hard to find in a historical tour. She was funny, patient and understood pacing perfectly. Could not recommend more strongly!
