C'est okonomiyaki, style Hiroshima. Pas de flammes, pas de gadgets, pas de crevettes balancées dans les airs. Juste de la vraie nourriture, de vrais chefs, et un peu d'action si vous voulez participer au plaisir. Vous serez assis côté grillades avec un Guide bilingue et un chef okonomiyaki professionnel, apprenant comment cette crêpe salée et stratifiée est devenue un incontournable local. Choisissez parmi quatre versions différentes, dont viande, fruits de mer, végétarien et une option sans gluten (disponible sur demande). Si vous voulez vous essayer à la cuisine, le chef vous Guide pas à pas. Si vous préférez simplement vous détendre et manger, c’est tout à fait correct aussi. C’est une expérience en petit groupe dans un vrai restaurant local, pas un piège à touristes, et vous repartirez rassasié, heureux, et peut-être juste un peu fier de votre création. Okonomiyaki a longtemps été un repas incontournable au Japon, prenant forme à l'origine dans les années après la Seconde Guerre mondiale lorsque les ingrédients simples devaient s'étirer loin. We did 9 different organized tours or experiences on our trip and this one had the best local feel of them all! Our guide Ken was an amazing conversationalist and it felt like we were visiting an old friend's hometown. Making the okonomiyaki was a fun and interesting challenge and it tasted much better than what we got at a restaurant in Kyoto!

Our guide Ken was very nice and helpful and the experience was great. We décided not to eat any breakfast to have room for the okonomiyaki at lunch and didn't regret it one bit. We're ready to make more at home!

Our guide, Ken, was awesome. He was punctual, and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. The restaurant was a short tram trip from the meetup at Hiroshima Peace Park. Ken was very friendly, and kept up a nice conversation between our group, and the chef, Seiya. One of our group is a vegetarian, and both Ken and Seiya were kind and accommodating. The restaurant was cozy, and the experience provided by Seiya was fantastic. We had a lot of fun, the food was very tasty, and both Ken and Seiya made us feel like we were just hanging out with friends. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Hiroshima.
