Fascinating walking tour of Canterbury- historical, religious significance and relevant to the modern day with an excellent guide
Inspiring tour with excellent guide
Adrian’s story-telling of Canterbury makes this experience worthwhile. He clearly has a wealth of knowledge (answering some group member’s questions with precision), but he weaves a 2,000 yr old story to explain the key items, with some funny stories along the way.
The tour was entertaining and informative. It gave us a great insight into the history of Canterbury. Our guide was pleasant and ensured that we had a great experience. We would recommend this tour to visitors who want to learn about the city and its history.
Thank you for letting us know that you had a great experience. We are so pleased to hear that.
A very interesting visit. We would have liked a little more historical depth, but perhaps that is because we know less about the history of England. Our guide was interesting and had a sense of humor, but was sometimes a bit disorganized. In any case, a good experience to get to know the city.
Thank you for telling us about your experience. I am glad that it helped with getting to know the city.
Guided tour that talks about the history of the city. Exciting! Only regret is that the tour of the interior of the cathedral is not included.
I am glad that you found the tour fascinating. Our tour does not go inside the Cathedral, but visits the grounds for which we have special permission to share with you. Thank you for taking the time to review.
Our tour guide was Lindsay and what a fantastic tour it was. Not only was she knowledgeable but she delivered the information with great enthusiasm and passion. You brought everything to life Lindsay. Great job!
Thank you for your lovely comments which we will pass on to Lynsey. It's great to hear that you enjoyed the tour :)
A very enjoyable 90 minutes historical tour close to the Cathedral - if your into history fill your boots! Highly recommended!
We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed discovering more about Canterbury's history on our guided tour - thank you for your review!
It is very informative, and you do not walk far., just round the block. Do not go on the walls or much further than in front of Cathedral.
Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear that you found the tour informative. It is indeed a short tour in terms of distance (around 1 mile) focused on the central city lanes and Cathedral grounds - there is a lot of history compacted into a very small space!
Fantastic walking tour . Our guide Kirsten took good care of us and provided so much historical and general information about Canterbury and the various points of interest. Highly recommended A1++++
Thank you for your lovely review, it's wonderful to hear how much you enjoyed your tour with us. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in Canterbury and will visit again.
