The Dolphin watching tour from Guayaquil was a fun and exciting tour away from the big city of Guayaquil. This Tour offers convenient hotel pickup from Guayaquil and about a 90 minute drive to the small port town of El Morro. The tour boat was clean and comfortable for our Dolphin watching excursion. As with any wildlife excursion, there are no guarantees for actually seeing the dolphins, but in our case we saw quite a few dolphins. Some of the dolphins that we saw on our excursion, actually swam right up to our tour boat - close enough to be able to touch them. These close up dolphins then swam right under our boat and came out from the other side - quite an exciting moment. After our dolphin watching excursion, we were taken to a nearby hotel for a delicious seafood lunch that is included as part of the excursion. The seafood lunch was very good. Overall, our tour experience was great.
I highly recommend the Dolphin watching trip at Puerto El Morro. Our guide, Jefferson, was both friendly and knowledgeable. Hotel pickup was conveniently on-time. The 90 minute drive from Guayaquil to Puerto el Morro was an interesting look into the cultural diversity of the region - going from the big city of Guayaquil to the small town of El Morro port. As with any wildlife excursion, there is no guarantee of actually seeing the dolphins. However, in our case, we were very fortunate to see many dolphins - both from afar and in our case we had dolphins swim right up against the side of our tour boat and swim directly under our boat. Quite exciting to see so many of the dolphins. Afterwards, we left the port area for a nearby hotel for the included seafood lunch which was both plentiful and delicious. I would recommend this excursion to anyone who is looking for an interesting and fun way to spend the day outside the city of Guayaquil.
This was a great tour, practically tailor made as the tour guide takes your party individually for this trip. You get to see the dolphins on their habitat. We were lucky to see a lot as we were told that sometimes they don’t show up. However the tour has a lot of additional perks. Getting out of Puerto El Morro and on the way there you get to see multiple ports, a variety of birds and a beautiful mangrove. The place where the tour guide took is to eat was really good too and everyone was friendly, it was overall a great atmosphere.

The experience was great. Our tour guide was a great host very friendly and accommodating. In this trip we had the opportunity to see dolphins on their habitat. Additionally we saw some birds and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.
Dear Jorge, thanks for your comment we are so happy that you have enjoyed this excursion with us, we hope to see you again. Best regards,
My husband and I wanted to make El Moro a part of our trip to Guayaquil, but struggled to find somewhere that was affordable. Finally I found this trip by Perfect Destiny that included a hotel pick up, boat tour of El Moro and the dolphin sighting, as well as lunch at Las Playas. It was definitely the best deal around. Our team, especially our guide Jefferson were very accommodating and even answered some questions via email before the trip. The dolphins were a little shy when we went, but Jefferson and our boat driver went above and beyond to make sure we have the perfect experience, and we were able to find the amazing bottle-nose dolphins. Also Jefferson took care of everything for us and introduced us to an amazing restaurant on the beach with some of the freshest seafood we had during our trip to Ecuador. I would definitely recommend this trip!
